Panathenaic Stadium is the place which the first Olympic Games of the modern world were held in 1896.

Apartment 3 (capacity 2-4 persons)

A 50 sq m apartment located on the first floor with a big balco...ny overlooking the courtyard and garden

The branches of the 60-year old lemon tree are just outside the bedroom and balcony

Next to the entrance on the right is the spacious living room with kitchen which

is fully equipped including oven fridge toaster and coffee maker.

In the living room, the sofa can be transformed to a double futon sofa bed if needed.

The bathroom is equipped with a Jacuzzi shower, the light and mirrors are made from the well-known Greek designer Lena (owner of Krama in Thessaloniki)

Access to the spacious balcony is from both bedroom and living room

Detail: The coat rack at the entrance is a 100 year old antique

  Wonderful quiet location

  Our family of 4 stayed here because the bigger apartment was not available and it worked surprisingly well since we only needed a place to sleep. We had a delightful stay starting with a free taxi transfer from the airport. Upon our arrival we were met by Fotini who made us feel at home by marking on a map all of the good shopping and restaurants in the neighborhood and gave us a free cell phone to use during our stay. She and Ioannis were helpful, warm and friendly throughout our stay and helped make the experience a very pleasant one. The apartment was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and walking in the park nearby. It was nice to escape the hubbub of athens each night when we returned to the apartment as it is nestled on a quiet side street. An added benefit was that the kids were able to pick lemons from our balcony and make lemonade!

  Comfort and Style

  The luxury apartments are situated in the heart of the city and very close to the beautiful historical centre of ancient athens, five minutes away from the impressive Kallimarmaro: the Panathenaic Stadium, build in honor of the Goddess athena. The beautifully marbled stadium affects all the surrounding area of Pagrati and in particular the street agras, which was a hub, for the athenian literati when Seferis (one of the two Greek Nobelists) lived in the area. The luxury apartments display this history with a remarkable simplicity and grace. The interior design marks a subtle balance between innovation and ancient austerity. The designer has combined marble, wood and silver in imaginative ways both to the furniture of his own creation and to the interior architecture of the rooms, of the common spaces and of the yard. The street agras, as I was informed, is named after the greek word for fields and this is evident when you realize that you are surrounded by a lovely hill, full of trees and singing birds. For a while when you return home from the exciting and noisy reality of the city you can escape to the small oasis that the apartments offer with comfort and principally with style.
