Ideally located, very peaceful, with an amazing view over the Acropolis and the Lycabetus hill and very close to a city park.
It was built in 2009, it is modern decorated with very expensive materials. It is in the sixth of a seven floor building. It is furnished with italian furniture and fully equipped. There are 3 separate bedrooms one of which, is Master.The kitchen is spacious which makes cooking a pleasure. There are 2 bathrooms fully equipped . - The apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood with a great view of acropolis from the balcony
- Syntagma square, Greek Parliament and acropolis are all located within 10 mins by taxi
- Interiors are quite comfy and the kitchen was well-stocked
- George was quite helpful and was only a phone-call away if we needed some stuff, got stuck somewhere and needed a translator etc.
- We went there in May and it was not too warm. So, we were comfortable in the night. However, the two smaller bedrooms were missing a fan/ AC -

This was my first time renting an apartment; well I hit the jackpot with this one.
It was very spacious and fit our group of 6 people well. ( four adults and two children)
I can't say enough about George and how helpful he was with transportation needs, taking us to the store, and questions about the area. The apartment looks just like the pictures online. It was very nice in a safe location and clean. I would highly recommend any of George's apartments, and If I return to Greece I will rent from him again. We had a great experience. Thanks, George

The best part was the very good communication. We arrived at 2 o'clock in the morning and George was ready and not only that when the boys said they were hungry he whisked them away to see athens and eat souflaki. The apartment was great, well equipped, plenty of space for the 6 of us, and with the marvellous view of the Parthenon from the spacious balcony.
George set us up with the mobile wifi which was a revelation, and explained the area.
We were in the middle of the city 15 minutes walk from the akropolis Museum, and there is some traffic noise, but this did not disturb my sleep. The bedroom at the back is silent.
George continued to be in touch throughout our trip and met us in south athens to return some goods we had left in the apartment.
All in all, you can see I cannot speak highly enough of the George, the apartment and our stay there. -

The staff was very helpful from the very beginning although we have been a quite large travelling group with all sorts of different needs. The appartment is very large and fully equipped (towels, linen, kitchen, TV etc.), extra beds were no problem either.
It's about a 10 min walk to the closest metro station and a 30 min walk into the city centre. A taxi costs about 5-8 € depending on where you would like to go in town. Supermarkets are close by. The apartment is situated on the 6th floor, but there is an elevator.
There is a larger street close to the apartment building, but then again it's right in the city.
From the balcony you get a stunning view towards the akropolis which is probably the highlight of this location.
We really emjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. -

We are a group of 3 couples from India who stayed at the apartment. This is a great apartment, with a great location. It is on the 6th floor of a 8 floor residential building. It has a large balcony and an unrestricted view of acropolis. It is 10-15 minutes' walk from the Metro. Super markets for grocery and other daily needs are within 5-7 minutes' walk.
It is advertised as 3 bedrooms. Since 1 bedroom is much smaller, it is actually 2 1/2 bedrooms and has 2 bathrooms. Air-conditioning / heating is available only in living room and 1 bedroom. 1 1/2 bedroom are without it. It has a big living room (including dining area) with TV, DVD player etc. Since we are vegetarians, the kitchen was very helpful and was used extensively. It had a refrigerator, hot plates and dish washer. The apartment had water heating and clothes washing machine.
Mr. George Kanellopoulos is a young and energetic man. In a land where the language is Greek & Latin to me, he speaks good English. He was very helpful and understanding. He picked us up & dropped us back at the airport (at extra charge).
We had originally planned to stay at the apartment for 3 nights only. However, we ended up making athens and this apartment our base. We stayed here for 9 nights. One reason is that George allowed us to keep our belongings at the apartment while we were travelling out of athens. He also did not charge us for the same.
All in all, a good guy and a great trip.

The owner was very helpful with arranging the accomodation. The apartment is spacious, clean and modern. There is an amazing view of the acropolis and all the major attractions are within easy walking distance.
My only recommendation would be for some better linen - the beds only had a single sheet.
Overall, I would happily stay here again. -

Wonderful apartment with a wonderful view of the acropolis
The apartment has great beds, two bathrooms and a huge baklon which is very cool to eat at any time of the day or night. Quiet neighborhood. We spent one week in this apartment and were very pleased. Wonderful host, transfers to and from the airport is best to book through it very well
The only negative is that the taxi drivers in athens not speak English so it's best to write the street name in Greek, and in general to the center is not so far 10 minutes leisurely pace. Right next to Plaka.

Our family of 5 stayed in this apartment in august. It is really spacious and well equipped. We were very comfortable. The girls shared a bedroom and our son had his own room; we had a large double room. The lounge, eating and kitchen area is huge and great for relaxing. There is a large TV with lots of channels; although we didn't use it, it would be great for anyone staying in during the evenings.
The main view is north facing which keeps it cool and gives a great view over athens and the beautiful cemetery park to Mount Lycabettus. There is a stunning view of the acropolis from the balcony where we had breakfast every day.
The apartment had a modern and stylish kitchen area and comfortable sofas with lots of room. It has air conditioning but we did not need it, even in august, as there is a refreshing breeze.
It is a 15 min walk to Hadrian's Gate and the Temple of Zeus and 3 mins from there to the acropolis Museum and the Theatre of Dionysus entrance to the acropolis itself.
In the evening, it was a pleasant walk to Plaka and we strolled back after a lovely evening meal.
George was extremely helpful with any questions and took the trouble to come and meet us and make sure everything was OK. He was in touch before we arrived and made it very easy for us to find the apartment. He is a very nice person to deal with.
All in all it far exceeded our expectations and I would definitely book it again if I return to athens. -

My family stayed at the apartment for 3 days and had a wonderful experience. The location of this property is excellent: close to downtown, all of the tourist attractions and historical sites, and walking distance to a large grocery store. The quality and finishing of the unit is outstanding: completely new unit...new fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms, appliances, and in spotlessly clean condition. Finally,the owner George was an outstanding host who went above and beyond to make us comfortable and help / advice for local travel, dining, sightseeing during our stay. And the view is to die for! Just like in the picture, a perfect view of the acropolis! At night with the temple bathed in lights, the experience is unreal.

George's apartment is very well placed close to the central city area and has the most magnificent view of the acropolis. The apartment is clean spacious and has all modern conveniences. The host did everything possible to help us enjoy our stay from meeting us at the airport, arranging hire cars for us at short notice and even organising extra accommodation and home delivery of food when we found ourselves unexpectedly back in athens. He could not have been more obliging and agreeable and I would highly recommend both George and either of his apartments for accommodation.
