Thisseio is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of central Athens (for us is the best by far!). It’s a place where you can feel heart beat of the city, not only in terms of “nightlife” and “tourist attractions” but the beat that comes from the ground and fills the air with an unexpected positive energy! In Thisseio you can still hear lovebirds singing in the morning and Gionis owls in the night. It’s just magnificent!
But Thisseio wouldn’t be so special without its people. Our neighbours are the most precious thing for us. They are the ones that love and take care of the area and we love them for that!
Nearby our apartments you’ll find small stores of all kinds! Mini markets, pharmacies, small plant nurseries, pastry shops, bakeries, open air cinemas. Almost everything!

Staying at Live in athens #02 was absolutely delightful! It's located in a convenient and safe neighborhood of Thisseio. If you want to experience athens like locals, this is an ideal choice for you. Andreas was very helpful and reliable.

"Home sweet home" is the feeling I have from my experience in Live in athens. The first day we took our car to go around for a coffee and as soon as I took the first turn right I realised that we were literally living in the very centre of athens! just a block away from the lovely Plaka area with the view of acropolis apparent from every single corner we parked the car back at the same spot and walked our way around the alleys enjoying every single second. Great value for money, very warm people!

The guys that rent the appartment are very nice and helpfull! The place is a 5 min walk from downtown! Lots of bars and restaurant right around the corner! Best place I ever stayed at! And the rooftop view is one of a kind! ;)

This was a very cute little apartment, newly refurbished, in a nice & relatively calm part of athens (not too touristy, but close to everything that mattered, including some great restaurants!). Sunny & light-filled, this apartment was very comfortable, but it is not huge, so probably best for couples or good friends. The bathroom was on the small side, which was fine for us, but might be an issue if you are particularly tall. The best part about the stay was the Live in athens team, who were super warm, friendly, & even gave nice recommendations for Crete (where I was headed to after athens). Great energy about the place & people, & I would definitely stay with them again.

The apartment is perfectly located in the historical center of athens. We traveled with two kids -- and acropolis, Agora, Pnyx and Keramikos were reachable by foot. Supermarket is very close and there are plenty of restaurants in proximity. It may get noisy on weekend nights, but rest of the time it is very quiet. The apartment itself is rather basic but very clean, nicely designed and reasonably priced. It has all necessary equipment for self catering, air condition and WiFi. The only minus was I did not succeed in proper operating washing machine. The roof terrace is indeed terrific and looks exactly as on the picture :) though you need to get out of the apartment and go up one floor in order to reach it. I would definitely recommend this apartment to those who want like us to explore ancient athens -- can't think of better location for such stay. We spent four nights in athens and our stay was very pleasant thanks to the location and hospitality of the owners. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, always reachable and easy to communicate with.

While in the decision making process, Andreas, at Live in athens, provided prompt, professional, and courteous responses to my emails. He sent a taxi, was there upon arrival and, hastily, departed. The balcony is large and attractive and provides a stunning view of the acropolis, as pictured. The bathroom is very small and the bath tub was the epitome of a wash tub! The mattress for the bed and the cushions for the sofa were mounted on crates appx. 1 foot from the floor. Therefore you had to squat to use both. Not very comfortable. I have pics, but unmotivated to sort through 200 photos. In fairness, it is a clean, cool pad for teens and college students; however, if you are an adult who wants comfort and convenience, this is not the place. Thanks.

I stayed five nights in athens #02 and had an excellent time thanks to the great efforts by the team running it. First they've done a good job in picking this flat in a very cute street with orange trees, a church and nice neighbors overlooking the street from their balconies. Second they've done an outstanding job with the interior design with lots of nice details and high quality furniture. Thirdly they are really serious about hospitality. They went to great lengths to come up with suggestions for things to do and see and when there was a problem with the internet they wen't very far to solve it successfully. I cannot recommend the flat and the team enough.
