This charming, elegantly furnished villa enjoys a great position along the Amalfi Coast, with sea views and proximity to two historic towns. From this Amalfi villa, you can be in Amalfi or Atrani in six minutes, where you'll love wandering the picturesque streets, discovering great restaurants and cafes or simply admiring the architectural magnificence of centuries past. You can relax on the beach or be adventurous and take a hydrofoil to one of the other lovely Amalfi Coast towns. And when you're not exploring, you'll be able to enjoy the privacy of your own Amalfi accommodation with a rooftop pool and terraces, all presenting magnificent vi...ews of the coastline and the sea below.

The exterior of this villa consists of several terrace levels furnished with tables, chairs, and many flowers. The private swimming pool [6m x 12m] is actually located on top of the villa! From the pool and the terraces, you will have fantastic views of the sea. There is one covered parking space, but it is possible to park up to four cars on the tree-lined driveway. The villa was remodeled in 2003.

Ground Floor: Entering into this villa, you will find yourself in a living room with several couches and a fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, dishwasher, and a table for eight. One bedroom on the ground floor has a 165 cm queen-size bed, an extra single bed, and an en suite bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower. There is also another ground-floor bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower. All rooms on the ground floor have windows looking onto terraces.

First Floor: Upstairs you will find three more bedrooms. The first bedroom has a 165 cm queen-size bed and an en suite bathroom with toilet, sink, and bathtub with handheld showerhead. The second bedroom has a 165 cm queen-size bed. The third room has two twin beds. There is also a bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower.

This villa enjoys a great location, just three minutes by car to the ocean. It is closest to the town of Atrani, and Amalfi is only six minutes away. Notable as the smallest town in Italy and pictured in one of M C Escher's lithographs, Atrani seems to hang right on the edge of the sea. It is an incredibly magical, picturesque spot and well worth the time spent here. Of course there's even more to do in Amalfi, the namesake town of the Amalfi Coast. An important trading center from the 9th to 13th centuries, Amalfi is surrounded by striking cliffs and coast. Among many shops and cafes you will enjoy the lovely architecture that surrounds you, including the Duomo in the center of town [with Asian influences] and the Cloister of Paridise, which takes a cue from Arabian styles. There is also a museum dedicated to the works of Morelli and a museum where you can view artifacts of Amalfi's long and interesting history. Of course, don't forget to spend some time on the beach! If you feel like exploring elsewhere, ferries and hydrofoils travel from Amalfi to Positano [20 minutes], Salerno [1 hour], Capri [1.5 hours], and Ischia [2.5 hours]. This service operates only in summer. Blue SITA busses cost about 1-2 euros, depending on destination. Stops are marked with a blue and white SITA sign. Driving times are: Ravello to Amalfi, 15 minutes; Amalfi to Positano, 30 minutes; Positano to Sorrento, 35 minutes.

  Wonderful. This was our second stay and the property was even better than we remembered it.
  
  The spectacular views and the extraordinary grounds. And the pool was outstanding. In addition, there is plenty of room for gathering, lounging, dining, and sleeping.

  Very quiet place with a tremendous view of the sea. Perfect for relaxing with the family.
  
  The large spaces for relaxtion with terraces and pool, space for privacy.
  
  Insects - mosquitoes. Also, there were some technical problems with the Internet, light and water.
  
  Beautiful Ravello is 5 km from the villa. We very much liked the beach in Atrani.

  The villa was the perfect accommodation for our blended family of nine consisting of four adult children, their spouses, and Mama and Papa!
  
  Can't be limited to one thing that we liked most: the views, the patios, the pool area, the private gate accessing the pathways to Ravello, Atrani, Amalfi, etc.!!!
  
  Because of our numbers, we were traveling in a 9 passenger Fiat van-bus. The bus was too big to be able to maneuver the entire steep driveway and backing out onto the busy Ravello road was always a challenge.
  
  We liked the challenge of hiking up and down the ancient stairways that led to Amalfi, Atrani, and Ravello. Great exercise!

  The views were spectacular and the grounds/gardens were incredible. Tons of outdoor living space best suited for active guests, as there are a lot of stairs. The pool is located on the top level which provides a beautiful view of the coast -- but a hike to get to! The person who provides the daily housekeeping, Elisa, is wonderful.
  
  Better directions are needed. We were lucky to find the villa because I had printed a picture of it before I left from the website and showed it to a local person in Atrani who knew the house. The villa has a staff person named Bonita who clearly told us she was not on salary and presumably expected to be paid for her services. This was awkward and should be clear when someone books the villa whether her services are included or excluded. We found her a little pushy. The maid Elisa was wonderful.
  
  The location is central to the Amalfi coast making it easy to do day trips to Positano, Capri, Minori, etc. The villa itself has incredible gardens and terraces so it was comfortable and inviting to just stay in our villa most days.

  Thank you to my Travel Advisor for helping me pull off a great Italian Holiday for my closest friends. You have been wonderful. Great information. Great house and experience.
  
  The home was overwhelming. Beautiful but a bit difficult for friends to find. The pool was a bit hard to reach as it was 2 stories above the home, but the view was worth every climb of the stairs.
  
  Everything about the home was wonderful. A few maintenance people arrivals were a bit of a frustration. The property manager was very nice and helpful until we booked a boat excursion to Capri with someone other than who she recommended.
