Come stay with us in our romantic B&B;, set in the foothills of the Waitakere Ranges. Xena, Hercules & The Piano were filmed in this area.

Glorious views and native bush make this a tranquil resting place for the tired traveller. Each bedroom, (one with Victorian-style claw bath en suite) is luxuriously appointed and with fresh flowers from our delightful garden; home cooking and tea and coffee making facilities in each room.

Start the day with a home-cooked, gourmet breakfast either healthy or indulgent (or a little of both) served on the private balcony from the main suite, outside in the garden or on cooler days before a cosy... fire indoors.

We are close to wedding venues and at the Gateway to the North but before you leave us, luxuriate in our spa pool with a glass of excellent local wine - then snuggle into your comfortable bed on best-quality linen and wish you could stay forever.Read more

  I spent my 64th birthday with Janice from abode de Fleur. Her B&B; is set in tranquil bush but within easy reach of the train and bus route. She is a legendary host who cooks like a dream. Will certainly visit again and again (and not only for the spa) and thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting to feel pampered..
