We were returning to NZ having lived overseas for 21 years. We needed somewhere to live while looking for a place to buy and we had an old dog with us. Finding Moya Lodge was the best possible outcome for us. Our first six weeks back in NZ were spent here. We couldn't have found a more beautiful property or planned a lovelier home coming. Moving house and moving country is a big upheaval in anyone's life but being able to enjoy the Lodge during this time, is something we will never forget. We were able to relax taking walks thru the beautiful bush tracks, feeding the goats, picking the watercress from the stream, admiring the deer from a distance. Our dog loved the bush walks and the companionship of his new friends as well. Pleasant summer evenings enjoying Happy Hour and Bbq's or lunch with friends. The ambience of Moya Lodge encourages relaxation and happy times.
The Hostess and Host were exceptional not only in providing outstanding service but also making us feel very much at home.
We ended up buying in Bombay weh enjoyed it so much!

Moya Lodge was a great place for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Moya went that extra step in her attention to detail and service and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and getaway from auckland.

We spent one night at the lodge. It was simply amazing. The room was very warm and welcome. The landscape was relaxing and the outdoor spa which was surrounded by bush was simply amazing. Breakfast was cooked with dedication. I recommend Moya lodge to anyone looking for a romantic getaway or a quiet weekend out of auckland's busy atm.
