It's hard to get a cooler place with a better location. Zilker Park Place is close to everything that is happening in Austin. Full of color and original art (photos by owner and art by the resident artist next door), it is a COMFORTABLE happy place with great energy. This is such quiet space that it will put you at total peace and provides an opportunity for a great nights sleep. The bedroom has a King size bed with the most comfortable mattress ever. The couch in the living room is a Queen sleeper with memory foam. The down stairs bathroom comes with 'Pretty Boy' the tetra fish and his aquarium which happens to be part of the toilet tank. This very large one bedroom vacation rental is located in the Zilker Park Area of Austin. It is in 78704 known for the Soco District, Barton Springs Pool, and an abundance of out door activities. The trail surrounding Lady Bird Lake is less than a mile from the rental and Barton Springs Pool couldn't be much closer. Downtown, 6th street, and the warehouse district are minutes away. We are close to almost anything and everything a tourist would want to do. Downtown is less than a $10.00 cab ride away. A bus stop and a convenience store are located around the corner.

Lois' place is awesome. The space is very cool, the three futons could sleep a lot of people if necessary, although it is a great size for two. Not too far from downtown, but in a quiet neighborhood. A great place to rest and a great way to "keep austin weird," which is really fun. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back.

The townhouse was great. Much better than staying in a cramped hotel room. The king size bed was so comfortable! Located in a great area. Walking distance to the Barton Springs pool, and were just a short drive to downtown. The neighborhood was close to a lot of bars and restaurants, yet still nice and quiet. We will certainly look this place up again next time we head back to austin.
