The Studio is our most economical unit, renting at only $109 per night during the week, $119 for weekends. You can enjoy all the perks of being near Zilker Park for less than you’ll find any decent hotel in the area.
This studio is on the lower floor and is the perfect place for a couple looking for a get-away, an extended stay for a work contract, or pull the Queen sized sofa bed out and squeeze four people in for a weekend out on the town.
The “James Bond” bed is the perfect place to sit up and watch a movie, or work on your laptop while your drink sits safely in the fold-down cup holder!

CANCELLATION POLICY – You can cancel outside of 30 days prior to your arrival date and receive a FULL 100% refund of your reservation deposit. If you cancel inside 30 days, you will be refunded 75% of your reservation amount. Once we have charged your full balance on the second monday prior to your arrival you are responsible for the full amount should you cancel, unless we can rebook. If you’re booking during SXSW, ACL, or F-1 the balance will be paid in full 90 days prior to arrival. If you cancel within 90 days, you are responsible for the entire amount unless we can rebook.
***If you cancel your booking more than 60 days after you made your reservation, we will refund your entire amount minus the credit card fees, which are forfeited after 60 days.

We were blown away with The Studio. Prior to staying, we received some very informative emails with information about the room, things to do in austin, and even the best restaurants. We were so excited to finally check in (which they let us do early check-in) and we were not let down one bit! The studio is located in the back of the building so it is very private and has every amenity you may need. From can openers, spatuals, even bug spray -we had everything we needed. We were so comfortable and cannot wait to return... It is probably our newest home away from home!

My wife and I have three kids and a granddaughter in austin, and we needed a place to stay, that would be fairly close to them. I found the Studio online and called. From the moment Cynthia answered the phone, she was as helpful as could be. She even accommodated our little dog. The Studio is small, but very clean and cozy, and has a very well stocked kitchen. The Studio is such a charming place to stay when you want to experience the comforts and amenities of home while you're on a weekend, staycation, or vacation getaway. My privacy and security was valued. Again I simply cannot express enough "the comforts and amenities of home" which makes a huge difference when you've traveled even if traveling means 2.5 hours away. As soon as I entered the Studio, I was at ease. I didn't feel that restricted feeling one gets in a hotel. Cynthia, Jay, and Peach paid a great deal of attention to comfort.
The location of Zilker Vacations is perfect. It is in a very quiet residential neighborhood, close to any major austin attractions, and very easy to get to. Something worth mentioning is the ease of check-in/out. What a treat it was to experience how casual jay and cynthia were (i didn't speak with peach, sorry, but i am sure he's just as cool :) ). They were both professional yet easy going. I will be a repeat customer in the very near future and Zilker Vacations will come highly recommended to my friends and colleagues. -

We just enjoyed a very nice stay at the studio condo in austin,TX. We were down for our sons wedding, we loved the studio because it was comfortable, the kitchen was large enough to fix the simple meals, and I really liked the little walk in closet, it added just enough room when our daughters came and stayed with us. All the bags and luggage could be out of the way. We really enjoyed how close it was to Zilker park and the trails. We would definitely stay again!

We spent a week in The Studio and enjoyed it very much. The correspondence with the owners, both before and during our stay, was positive and helpful. Although not on site, they always responded to our questions and needs in a friendly, prompt manner. We found the unit to be modern, clean, and in good condition. Getting to it is a little tricky because you either have to park on the street level and walk down a flight of outdoor stairs, or you have to drive down a steep driveway. We opted to drive down to it only to unload on our first day and load back up on our last. But there's a parking spot available right next to the door. Also, a room with a community washer and dryer was right in front of the parking space, and the use of the equipment (including detergent) is free -- a nice amenity! The condo contained a comfortable bed and a separate couch, a small dining table, and lots of closet storage space. The owners provided quite a bit of literature to help us decide what to do and where to eat in austin. All in all, it was a very positive experience, and we would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed in The Studio for 3 nights in March. We found it to be clean and comfortable, with all the comforts of home. Even though we didn't use the kitchen much, except for breakfast and tea / coffee, it had everything we needed and more. We especially appreciated the coffee beans, grinder and tea leaves! The bed and pillows were comfortable, there was plenty of wardrobe space and the bathroom was starting to look a bit tired, but was clean. We had a good wi-fi connection, and we used the laundry a couple of times, which was very convenient. My only gripe was that being the bottom apartment, it was a bit dark, so if we stayed again we would probably pay a bit more and get one of the other apartments that were a bit lighter. Other than that, everything else was great. The location is good, within walking distance to Zilker Park and Barton Springs. There is a local bus service that stops nearby and goes into the city, but we ended up driving instead. Overall we had a very comfortable stay in The Studio and we would come back again!

Quiet, clean, and super convenient for downtown and SoCo activities. It's not fancy, but doesn't advertise that way. On the basement floor with a walk-out patio but not really a place to sit outside and enjoy cocktails. The bed seemed a little tired...that's the only thing that was at all a disappointment. Easy to rent. You just couldn't beat the location for the price.

From reservation to check out, it was an extremely simple process but very customer service oriented. I appreciated the follow up emails during my stay to see if I needed anything. The Studio is designed with maximum use of space and thoughtful additions for comfort and ease. The neighborhood is quiet and I hope to enjoy nearby Zilker Park on my next visit!

Close to everything, but private, this is a great place for up to four people to stay if you fold out the hide-a-bed. A music themed decor, with all the comforts of home- full kitchen, and whole coffee beans and grinder for the morning, large closet, iron and ironing board. Prompt and friendly service were available for questions and concerns. What a great place to come "home" to after adventures in austin!

We stayed at The Studio for 5 nights and loved it. Everything you need is provided, down to fresh coffee beans and grinder. The place was very clean and inviting. The best part for us, however, was the location. We were just a block away from the Lady Bird Lake trail, which was the coolest running trail I've ever seen! We will absolutely stay here again when we return.

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying in the studio for the weekend! What a fantastic alternative to staying in a hotel! We were so happy to be able to take our dog. It was so close to everything, very comfortable, and great to be able to have dinner guests. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. Jay and Cindy were ever so accomadating and eager to offer early check-in and late check-out. Thanks for making our stay very enjoyable!

I really lucked out with this one. I went to austin for 3 days and stayed here. The location couldn't be better. It's really comfortable. Space for parking. Pull out sofa. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, water heater, brita filter, etc. So much better than staying in a hotel. Jay and Cynthia are a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely stay there again next time I go. Absolutely no complaints!
