New YorkLoved austin and Double View

Really nice apt that was perfect for 2 couples with each having a master bedroom/bath. The apt was very comfortable and furnished as only weird austiners can do it. Complete kitchen, comfortable beds and 2 outrageous porches. Parking space is a challenge and be sure not to bottom out your car. Location is excellent but there's no bad location in austin. It's small.
I have written a complaint to the bat in charge of the Congress St bridge bats as they never came out the night we went...but it was fun hanging out anyway. Best BBQ ever, ever, ever at La Barbeque, formerly Mueller. Lbj Library is a masterpiece of propaganda and really a must visit along with Zilker Park and 50 different music venues. -

The place is super nice and 'pampering" as all of the
linens are soft and fluffy..
I had a great time and I really liked the apartment and all
the add ons (kitchen gear, bathrooms)

This place is so cool! I can't imagine a better way to experience austin. The views were breathtaking, and we were so close to all of the places we wanted to visit. This is the ideal location if you want to see all that austin has to offer. Also a great place to just kick back and relax.
The rooms are very large as are the balconies. Beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. We are looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend this place! -

ABQRoom to stretch out and close to everything

Longtime austin residents, we moved away a few months ago and returned to town for a week of wrap-up visits/appointments to do in South austin. Due to tight hotel room availability, we had only been able to get a hotel suite reservation for our family way up in arboretum. Dreading the daily two-way traffic slog, we did a last minute search for rental properties and came up with this gem - triple the space, laundry and a real kitchen, rates comparable to our hotel, and perfectly situated for a quick blast south, north or downtown!
The space was perfect - an end unit with a spacious upstairs master suite and a basement "great room" that our kids immediately claimed, featuring two full-size beds, bath, and a secure, private balcony. Between the two floors was a very usable living space floor - family room, kitchen, dining area and balcony. The separation of the sleeping floors made the place feel much larger than ~1400 sq ft; the kids would generally disappear into the basement, only emerging to join us for food, and then vanish into the depths once again - really nice for a week that included a significant amount of downtime just hanging out at the condo.
The location was great ... just a few minutes drive time to South Lamar / Ben White, Mopac, or downtown. Plus, it was within easy walking distance of Barton Springs Rd restaurants, Zilker Park and Lady Bird Lake Trail - we made all those treks. The unit has a very spacious carport for private parking; just beware the complex area is extremely hilly and tight on driving space.
We were the lucky first renters of this property, but I have full confidence that Jay, Lauren and their team will keep it in great condition and perfectly outfitted with everything you need. We were very pleased with their personal and attentive service. Now that we have found their company, we likely won't bother with hotels for future visits!
