The Live Music Capitol of the World has another music shrine: The Greenroom!
We’re excited for this unit because this is going to be our way to pay thanks to all of our favorite musicians through a vacation rental unit!
We are going to collect as much local musician inspired art and even personal memorabilia as we can get our hands on! As well as supply a local music library for your enjoyment while you’re staying in The GreenRoom! While it may take some time to get all this art and music together, in the meantime you have an amazingly comfortable vacation rental unit fully furnished and ready to rock and roll!

This house is super cute! It was a perfect location, had everything we needed and more, and most importantly it was a pleasant experience from the start. I highly recommend the Greenroom for small parties that want to enjoy themselves in austin. Not to mention it's in the best location with several really cool restaurants and dog parks. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We stayed in the greenroom over the Christmas holiday and it was wonderful for us. A real treat was the Zilker tree illuminated and framed through the sliding doors and the deck. It was beautiful. We walked to everything and the neighbors made us feel like permanent residents. Very hospitable and comfortable. We will consider this property for our next visit.

What a great tree house nestled by Zilker Park and close to all austin attractions. The Greenroom had everything we needed and more. Once we parked the vehical it was a short cab ride or walk to great places to eat shop and relax. I recomend the Black Sheep Lodge for a place to unwind and meet locals, great food and spirits. Jay was great to deal with and will call when I am looking for a place to stay in austin. Skip the hotel and live like a local at the Greenroom .

We really enjoyed our stay at the Greenroom House. We felt right at home, location was great with everything close by. We got to enjoy austin like a local, a few blocks away from Zilker Park and close to so many restaurants and Soco. Loved it, loved it, and loved it! We will definitely come back soon and from now on only use vacationcake.com to book all our stays in austin.

Yes, we could have book two rooms at the Hyatt - but we wouldn't have been able to more easily walk to the sculpture garden, Zilker park, or Uncle Billy's. Plus, we learned Rock Band! And there was great coffee you could grind and brew fresh. We like to be able to walk around and hang out when staying with our young adult kids - and the Greenroom was the perfect place to relax and enjoy each other and austin. Yes, the place is older and not fancy (think back to your college apartment) but it's got all that you need.

I satyed at the Green Room with my adult children and a buddy from Boston during the 2011 aCL Festival. The location could not have been better with Zilker Park only a 15 minute walk, short walk to Barton Springs, and a convenience store a short stroll away. The layout of the house allows for privacy in the bedrooms while providing common areas in the open upstairs and on the porch. The bathrooms functioned well as did the kitchen (sink faucet needs some work). The WiFi worked very well. We didn't have much time to test out the large screen TV, DVD, and playstation. We all recommend the Green Room highly.
