traditional farmhouse with outbuildings and garden. We provide holiday accommodation from bed and breakfast to full board, we can offer continental breakfast or cooked breakfast, picnic or packed lunches and a substantial four course meal : starter, main-course, cheese and dessert.

Meals can be booked at the time of reservation or with 24 hours notice.

Special dietary needs can be met if requested at the time of booking.

At our smallholding farm we have an assortment of animals and birds. John is a beekeeper with hives in the orchard and surrounding villages. We produce Bourbonnais honey, which is for sale at LA GRANDE CHAUM...E, at the local grocery (epicerie) in Cressanges and at local brocantes.

We offer excellent accommodation on the first floor, comprising five bedrooms, two shower rooms, separate toilet, a large residents lounge with coffee and tea making facilities, and a fridge for residents.

There are hairdryers and an iron and ironing board available.

Laundry can be washed for a charge, much easier than sitting in the launderette on your holidays !

We have cots for babies available or a small bed for a child under 6 years old or a fold out bed for a child 6-12 years old. There is a supplement for these extra children’s beds. We also have a highchair, baby seat, changing mat, bottle warmer and microwave oven available.

The dining room is on the ground floor. We cater for individuals, couples, families and small groups.

Of course we are prepared to offer reduced prices for long term stays, such as property hunting, house renovating or working in the area.Read more
