Well-equipped alpine style bungalow. Clean, but somewhat unpersonal in character; could do with something nice on the timber walls, and some books and Dvd's on the shelf.
Within walking distance to the shopping area, if you like walking.
Bring a car to explore this ravishing part the Highlands, or rent mountainbikes for the purpose.
Bring your own books and other entertainment; we have seen all the Scottish varieties of weather in brisk succession.

Beautiful well furnished spacious lodge a short drive from the centre. Only point worth making is the fridge a little small for six persons. Loved the outdoor space and table and benches.

Great lodge, 10 mins walk from town. Spacious wrap round verandah catching the sunny spells. Kitted out to very high spec.. Only items missing were mirrors for bedrooms and coathangers were lacking, even a mirror in the hall would have sufficed. Icebox for the freezer would have helped for pre dinner drinks. All else was brilliant and very comfortable.

Very pleasantly surprised by the comfort and excellent facilities of this log cabin which provided plenty of space both inside and out for the family, including our energetic grandchildren. Three good sized bedrooms and a great open living/dining/kitchen area. A good location, warm and comfortable with easy parking and quick road access to the ski slopes. A great place to relax in after a day out on the slopes and only a 20 minute walk into aviemore with the children when we wanted to eat out. Mostly however we were content to cook for ourselves, although a few more cooking pots and pans would have been beneficial. Just a little short on hooks for ski jackets etc, but overall an excellent place to stay. No arguments over the bathroom as there is also an en suite shower room, and so queues for the loo!

Thank you for your comments. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at the lodge and in Aviemore. It is always quite difficult to show the lodge off with a few photos on a website and capture how nice the lodge is to stay in. We hope to see you again soon.
