Melbourne, Australiathe apartment, the owner and the town were superb.
Left on 01/10/2013 for a stay in April 2012
This apartment and Its charming and helpful owner were an absolute delight. Everything we needed including real coffee was in the cupboards and all the appliances worked beautifully. The supermarket and several boulangeries were a short walk away. The shower worked brilliantly and the sofa was welcome after a long day.
The situation was splendid. The car park near the Palais des Papes was easy to reach and the information books in the arpt were very useful. We would highly recommend this.
The apart was on the ground floor so was easily accessible. The wi-fi worked without fuss and the owner even booked an early morning taxi for us to enable us to get the Station as we were leaving for Paris at 8 am on a Public Holiday. It was superb to be in the old town and everything was within easy walking distance. It was a magical experience.

CairnsA perfect location
Left on 11/10/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Our second stop on our six week trip around France found us in this delightful, well and modern equipped cosy apartment, beneath the Palais du Pape, and close to all the facilities we required, especially the internet cafe which also served great baguettes and salads that we took for our lunches when we also ventured out to the Gare Routiere for public bus trips to nearby towns of Goult, Tarascon and Beaucaire, Isle sur la Sorgue, Arles, Les Baux, and a walk across the bridge from avignon to the lovely village of Villeneuve. For those self catering, Les Halles under cover market was a short walk away, in fact everything was only a short walk away. Avignon is very easily travelled on foot though it took us a couple of days to get our bearings. Had a few adventuress hours getting lost and then found ourselves again. The tourist Info office staff on the way to the Gare Routiere are very helpful.

A truly memorable stay in avignon. The apartment was everything we hoped for and more. It is is centrally located (close enough to come back to for a rest when feeling a little weary!!), very clean and had everything you could possibly want. Being on the ground floor was an added bonus.
We felt very safe in the area at all times and had no security issues whatsoever.
Aude is a wonderful hostess - her service is second to none. She gave us a very thorough introduction to both the apartment and the surrounding area. Any issues and she was only a phone call away - made our stay in avignon so much more enjoyable. Was on hand when we left and even arranged a taxi to the TGV station.
A wonderful apartment for two (we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary) to explore an incredibly beautiful part of France. -

PerthA perfect location to enjoy avignon
Left on 09/11/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We recently stayed in this clean avignon apartment with our 5 year old son. The apartment is in an ideal location inside the old city walls with everything you could possibly need plus some!
The owner, Aude, is friendly and efficient and was also generous to us when we realised that we had made an error in our booking. It was a pleasure dealing with her.
There is parking located directly outside the door, however these are often taken. It is just as easy to park your car at a free public space 10 minutes away and enjoy the walk into the old city.
Avignon is an amazing city, so close to other key towns in Provence. This apartment is an ideal place to make your base during a visit to the region. -

Left on 07/02/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment! It was situated in a very convenient spot. We loved walking in the old city and feeling like we lived there. Aude and Simoen were excellent landlords. Helping us with many of our plans while we were there. They were very welcoming and kind. The apartment has everything you need. It is a nice size and again centrally located. It was quiet also.
We highly recommend this apartment to someone who wants to " live the avignon life". -

We had a great stay at this apartment. A modern renovation still retains the old world feeling while giving all the comforts - a great kitchen, modern bathroom , laundry facilities and easy walking distance to everywhere. We can highly recommend this apartment and the owners were wonderful, making sure we had everything we needed.

Aude was very helpful and provided some extras like milk and coffee to get us started. Little touches like that make a place so much more welcoming.
The apartment was in a great location and it was easy to walk everywhere. The local train station was about a 10 minute walk away but it was not at all difficult. -

Left on 12/01/2011 for a stay in October 2011
This beautiful apartment was exactly what we (husband, 6 month old son, and myself) needed for our stay in avignon. We love to cook, and were very pleased to find the kitchen very well stocked with all of the pots, pans, utensils, etc needed to make wonderful dinners.
The apartment is situated on a quiet street that is just a short distance from Les Halles (and everything else), which provided us with exceptional food to cook above dinners! We really liked being close to everything, but then be able to come back to a quiet place in the evening (very helpful for baby's early bedtime!)
The owner, Aude, was a pleasure to deal with. Before, during and after the booking process she answered my (many) emails promptly with helpful answers. While in avignon, she was kind enough to ask her contacts for restaurant recommendations for a day trip to Marseille we had planned (for the sole purpose of savouring a proper Bouillabaise) - her recommendation couldn't have been better.
Every room in the apartment is stylishly decorated and very well maintained. Aude has thought of little details that I've not seen in other apartment rentals we've done (ie. providing some kitchen staples like cooking oil, coffee, etc, laundry detergent, etc.) that made our stay that much more easy and convenient.
I honestly can't think of a single negative regarding our experience - it was definitely a high point of our vacation in France! We would absolutely stay again and would not hesitate to recommend the apartment to anyone who enjoys apartment-style accommodations while travelling. -

CanadaGood Value apartment - Very Good Host
Left on 10/24/2011 for a stay in October 2011
Overall this was a very good rental, and aude is very helpful. Anything we asked for, we got. And her English is excellent, no matter how modest she is in telling you otherwise. However, there are a few points to keep in mind:
1. The bed is a bit small, especially if like me you are over 6 feet tall and sharing it with another person. Also, it is pushed up against a wall. So, if you are sleeping against the wall you have to climb over the other person in bed to get out at night.
2. The toilet is not flat on the floor of the bathroom. Instead, you need to "step" up on to a different level in the bathroom. It is hard to describe. To be sure, it works. It is just an awkward design.
3. The apartment is on the street level. Everyone in avignon has bars on the street level windows, but it does make one nervous when first walking up.
4. There is a clothes "dryer." However, it is the kind of dryer when you hang your clothes on. In North america, we would call it "a drying rack".
Overall, a much better value than a hotel. -

Canberra, AustraliaLovely apartment in the historic centre of avignon
Left on 10/11/2011 for a stay in September 2011
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in September 2011. Aude was a welcoming and informative hostess who was there to meet us, showed us around the apartment and explained how everything worked. The apartment is "intra muros" - within the old city walls - and just a short walk from the Palais des Papes and other landmarks. A fabulous supermarche was a short walk away and there were ample local restaurants as well as an art-house cinema nearby. The local markets were wonderful, too. Parking was a bit of a challenge in the old part of the city, but we were very pleased to have a car in order to visit the local countryside. Avignon is a stunning city and this apartment was a wonderful base for us - it had a good kitchen, a lovely big sofa, wireless internet, air-conditioning, a comfortable bed and a (very welcome and much-used) washing machine. I would highly recommend aude's apartment for a couple who want to be self-sufficient,to spread out and to feel at home.

If you ever find yourself in avignon, I highly reccomend staying at this apartment. The owner, Aude, was an honest, extremely helpful host who really went out of her way to help us feel comfortable and get to know the area. The place itself is newly renovated and is gorgeous. Not a huge place, but very cleanly and stylishly done--perfect for a couple. The location is also amazing, right next to the palace and in the heart of the city on a very cute street. And, the best part is, for less than half of what a nice hotel would cost you, you get more space, a full kitchen, laundry room, etc. All around great trip, highly recommended.

Run don't walk to this apartment at 34 Rue Sainte Catherine owned by aude and Simone, who were there to greet us when we arrived - we found the apartment matched all our expectations and hopes: Aude had sent us photos of the apartment beforehand and, as the saying goes: "What you see is what you get" - very clean and comfortable, with all mod. cons. [including an espresso maker -thank you, Simone, for insisting on an Italian make - and air conditioning: since it was in the 90's for much of our time there, the a/C was a godsend] - a few minutes walk from Les Halles [a really good market for fresh food, baked goods, fruit, pies, meat] as well as close to the Papal Palace and le Petit Palais [which contains a really good collection of 13th-16th century art, including a Botticelli] and, of course, "The Bridge", and restaurants - Aude was extraordinarily helpful to us in providing driving directions to the apartment from our point of departure [Geneva] and in recommending restaurants and places to visit beside the usual tourist spots: in particular, she suggested Villeneuve lez avignon, which was a real eye opener: be prepared to spend at least one whole day there - we had never heard of the place before going there. Aude & Simone were particularly helpful, patient and courteous in dealing with individuals [my wife and I] who had not dealt with the intricacies of PayPal before and helping us work our way through it so we could pay the rental and the security deposit [which deposit aude returned to us via PayPal before we even left avignon to return to Geneva]
All in all, we had a great experience visiting avignon and its environs, which we had never visited before: our experience was made even better and more pleasant by being able to stay in a lovely apartment with landlords who did all they could to make our stay a very pleasant one. They succeeded. I would go back and stay there in a second -

Perth, AustraliaQuiet, good location, fantastic owner
Left on 08/14/2011 for a stay in May 2011
The apartment is located in a quiet part of avignon and only about 5 to 10 minutes walk to the main part of town. Despite being at street level, we had no problems with noise during our 1 week stay. The apartment is small, but has been newly fitted out and the most made of the space. It was fine for a couple, we had our young daughter with us who slept on the sofa bed and we could have done with a little more room, but considering the very reasonable nightly rate, the apartment represented very good value for money.
Aude the owner was fantastic, any little problem she was very keen to sort out quickly and very enthusiastic about getting things right. -

Our host aude was wonderful. She made sure that we felt at home. She gave us some really great sightseeing advice ( even researched train and bus timetables) which we followed.
The apartment was cosy and well appointed. I was traveling with my wife and 2 children ( 13 & 11 years old) and we found it to be a really comfortable and exceptionally central location in the heart of a historical city. It was a great base to also see surrounding areas. Aude even arranged a taxi tranfer for us on our departure. -

We were fortunate to come across this comfortable apartment in avignon, newly renovated with all modern conveniences, but lots of charm. The location was perfect...on a quiet residential street behind the Pope's Palace and very close to the center of town. The owners were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. A much better value than staying in a hotel room.

We were recommended this guest house by a friend who was offered this option when he had to stay in avignon for two nights for business but could'nt find any hotel availability . We haven't be disappointed! The first good surprise was the avaiability and the kindness of the two young owners who spared no efforts to make our stay the most comfortable and memorable , recommanding nice restaurants or advising on itineries for discovering the city and nice places around .
The apartment is lovely, so cosy, super clean and very well equipped - ideal for 2 , suitable for 3 persons or 2 couples for short stays . We highly appreciated the very convenient location of the apartement : 2 minutes walk from the very animated touristic spots , but in a quiet area . We had a marvelous time , and we will definitely stay there again if we had another opportunity to spend some days in avignon !
