Centrally located in the Kinnakeet Shores Subdivision. The first floor has 4 bedrooms, two shared baths and a laundry area. Two of the bedrooms have direct access to the shaded deck with stairs to the beach pathway. The second floor has an open great room with cathedral ceilings and 42 inch TV, half bath, kitchen with breakfast bar, dining area and adjacent screened porch with an ocean view. Also on this level is a master suite with a Jacuzzi and oceanfront deck.Wireless Internet access via Silicon Travel (computer not provided, bring your laptop).

The only good thing about this house was it's proximity to the beach.
The house's kitchen was ill equipped for families. No bowls to store food & not nearly enough pots and pans to cook for a family. There was no dust pan. We had to purchase a can opener in order to open our cans and bowls to store our food.
The outside deck has furniture that is falling apart and splintering. The nails are rusty and popping out. There are rails that are not secure. We had small children with us and a small child could have easily fallen between the broken rails. We found many nail pieces that had rusted and fallen off.
On Wednesday of our stay, we arrived back from the beach to find one of the bedrooms infested with ants (I have pictures). The exterminator came and indicated that they were acrobatic ants...the house was infested. He sprayed - we could not use that room for 3 nights--even after we left the windows open to air it out. We stayed on the floor in the family room. However...
There was a non working fire place that had birds living it and they made a lot of noise.
The jacuzzi (that was advertised) does not work.
I have sent 2 letters to Midgett Realty about the poor condition of the house - we have not heard a word back. Apparently they don't care that the home is in poor condition - they are still trying to rent it!
I would never rent this house again. I may rent from Midgett but at this point due to the lack of any type of response back from them it is debatable - they have not even had the courtesy to say "we will look into the problems".
