Couldnt fault this cottage at all. It was in a great location for ayr and the Brig o Doon hotel. Decor was lovely and the cottage was clean and well presented. The owner Hue was very flexible and a pleasure to deal with. Had a brilliant weekend here and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Friendly and helpful owners. Spotlessly clean cottage. Well equipped and comfortable accomodation within walking distance to the coast and alloway and an easy drive to Glasgow. Evenings were spent on the garden decking, with a glass of wine, watching the golfers. Full Scottish breakfast at Rozelle House (10 mins walk away) a must!

our family has stayed at the greenkeepers cottage 2 years in a row and we have just booked up again for 2012,beautiful spot, handy for local pubs, the beach, golf and local shopping in ayr, already looking forward to sitting on the deck watching the golfers pass by ,hue and liz could not be more helpful, the accomodation is ideal for a large family including 3 spacious bedrooms, modern kitchen and living area, this year we met up with family from canada and found it an ideal location to capture all we had cover, when in scotland our family spend a fair amount of time in glasgow half an hour away, perfect for us.the conlons ,perth western australia.

Lovely cottage looking right on the golf course - my husband and son loved it. Modern and clean, great location - quiet spot within minutes of local tourist destinations. Only complaint would be lack of curtains in bedrooms - kids were awake at 6am!

The cottage is comfortable, clean, quiet and well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the golfers, sunsets and having our meals, weather permitting.. Hue and Elizabeth are wonderful hosts, making sure we had everything we needed.. We loved the cottage and would highly recommend to those who want a perfect place to stay while visiting this beautiful country

Greenkeepers Cottage is in a stunning location, really quiet and peaceful. The cottage is really well equipped and I really appreciated being left loads of clean fluffy towels.
Hue and Elizabeth are really genuine lovely people and I would totally recommend the cottage to anyone who is looking for some where to stay in ayr.

We stayed in the Green keepers cottage for 7 nights in June 2011.The whole experience was beautiful and I would definitely go back there. The cottage is immaculate inside and out. I have stayed in many houses but this is by far the best yet. It's a fabulous area over looking a beautiful golf course and only walking distance to the beach. I would highly recommend it to anyone. We found both Hue and Elizabeth to be very nice people and easy to deal with.

Langen, GermanyWe spend a very nice time in the greenkeepers cottage
Left on 06/02/2011 for a stay in April 2011
In this spring we spent a further holiday in the Greenkepers Cottage. Like last year we had a great time in ayr again. The house was in perfect condition and has met all expectations completely. The landlords Hue and Elizabeth Sweeney were very friendly and helpful. It was nice to see how easy the lease was scheduled, held and conducted. The neighbors were nice and friendly. The beach was in a walking distance of half an hour. The house is located directly at the public golf course, that fact has inspired us to make a lot of walks. The town of ayr is just right, not too big nor too small. Many attractions are within a short drive.
We can recommend the Greenkeepers Cottage with a clear conscience and we will be happy to come back again.

Left on 05/25/2011 for a stay in April 2011
We stayed at the Greenkeepers Cottage to attend our son's wedding at the BrigO'Doon House Hotel. The cottage couldn't have been better. The location was wonderful, with views over Belleisle golf course, and within easy reach of the hotel. Beautifully appointed, it more than met our needs. The wine, sweets and biscuits left for our arrival were a lovely surprise and the addition of milk in the fridge
allowed a reviving cup of tea after a long tiring journey.
We had a lovely stay, even the weather was amazing and it contributed to a spectacular wedding. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again or to recommend the cottage to friends and family .
