Bagni di Lucca is a historic spa town in northern Tuscany. Nowadays it is the ideal destination for those who want to enjoy a relaxing holiday amidst stunning hill and mountain scenery. This small, tranquil Tuscan town on the banks of the River Lima has all the restaurants, bars, supermarkets and other facilities for an easy vacation along with superb open air public swimming pools and the thermal spa. Bagni di Lucca makes an ideal base for walking holidays with so much stunning scenery all around and the countryside is dotted with medieval hill villages unchanged for centuries .It is ideally placed for day trips throughout northern Tuscany. The walled city of Lucca is 25minutes away and Pisa airport only an hour. The Versilia coast is easily reached as is Florence.For the more adventurous there are numerous activities including rafting,canoeing,quad biking,paintball in the woods (group activity) and hiking .In summer you can hike through the "Orrido di Botri " canyon.The villa is not suited to people with mobility problems.
