My husband and I just got back from spending a week in this cottage. I can not say enough about it. The location is more than great. You awaken to the sound of the waves coming in every morning. It was furnished very nicely. Rustic, but clean and homey.
We loved sitting out in the enclosed sun porch watching the ocean, while we ate supper at the table or in the morning drinking our coffee while planning our day. We took several pictures of the cottage, inside and out, to show our family and friends when we got back home.

Enjoyed our stay at Spindrift! You can't get more typical Maine cottage than this! Loved all the blue and white nautical decorative touches. Kitchen had everything we needed (wine glasses, cork screw etc). Microwave operation confusing. Posted directions needed. Safety issue that needs to be addressed- the landing of the interior stairway. Linen service- although adequate, some did not have that fresh-clean smell. Bedrooms on East side could use some scrubbing and painting (dust allergies here). Preferred those on West. Loved waking up to see and hear the ocean. Location, location...just what we wanted.
