Are you looking for that special getaway in the Heart of beautiful Door County? Well, welcome to Carraig Mor Cottage. This fabulous, one of a kind home, is situated in the town of Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. Set on approximately one acre of near Botanical Gardens, Carraig Mor is a completely renovated and updated 1800 square foot cottage with some views of Lake Michigan. It has three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and laundry facilities. It sleeps eight people.

Carraig Mor boasts a kitchen with custom cabinetry, granite counter tops and top of the range appliances. There is a dining area, sitting area and a large family room with s...tone fireplace. It has been decorated, furnished and equipped to the highest standards. It has a TV (DVD and Videos only) and a sound system with, outdoor speakers, AM/FM, and CD player.

Outside, there is a wrap around deck with views of the spectacular garden. This account and the many pictures on this site hardly do it justice.

  Great Setting, Beautiful Garden, but...

  you have to bring your own linens (including pot holders, dish towels, bath mats, etc). We stayed for 3 nights and not sure it was worth the extra work of making an unmaking their beds then doing laundry when we got home. The location was perfect and we all really enjoyed being on the lake side of the peninsula. There was a lot within walking distance of the house too. We were grateful that they allowed dogs and the Harbor Fish Market even had a dog menu! I think if we were to stay a week I wouldn't have minded the linen issue so much, but when renting on Vrbo it doesn't say anything about "self catering" and we only found this out after we sent in the deposit. If they had been more upfront about it I think we would have understood - these details are described on their main website so make sure to check there before renting.

  Dear Guest, Thank you very much indeed for taking the time and effort to write a constructive and positive review. It is reviews and comments like this that allow us to meet, and hopefully, exceed our guest's expectations. We take each and every review and comment seriously and make sure that we address all concerns. Despite posting your comment here on Flipkey, you do reference our posting on another website. On that site we, in the rate detail section, boldly emphasize that guests should check our home website for our most recent and up to date terms and conditions. In general, we do not offer linen and towel service because the vast majority of our guests much prefer to bring and use their own linens. Having said that, for guests that travel long distances, we can, and have in the past, provided this service. With the exception of towels and linens, we do provide a fully functional and completely equipped home for our guests to enjoy. I cannot honestly explain why pot holders and bath mats could not be located, but I have since added more of both. When providing final details regarding our guest's stay, I do provide contact numbers and I insist that if a guest should have a concern that they do not hesitate to call me, day or night. I can usually resolve most concerns immediately. I have just reviewed our posting here on Flipkey (as well as the competitors website you mentioned earlier) and have added further details.
