The cottage was beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. If you needed anything you could guarantee it would be available for you! Bainbridge is a lovely village and the surrounding countryside second to none. Yorkshire at its best! Our stay was for one week and there was so much to do and see, we didn't need to travel far. We can't wait to return.
The weather was lovely but suddenly changed and was noticeably colder. The owner telephoned just to check we were warm enough and to make sure we took advantage of the extra blankets and open fire - a lovely touch!

The best cottage I have stayed in. The attention to detail was amazing with underfloor heating in the bathroom, lovely comfy beds, a pretty garden and lots lots more. All this together with the sunshine and the beautiful dales what more can you ask for. I will definitely be going back.

An excellent place to stay for the quality of the accommodation and standard of comfort, a quiet place in the village, and a central location in the dale.

The best cottage hubby and I have stayed in for many a year. Attention to detail, cleanliness and comfort were second to none. Tried to declare Squatters Rights, but had to go back to work! We will definitely go back to Bill's Place.
Everything you could need and more!

Lovely house situated in a convenient location in village. Well decorated and fitted out throughout. Heating very effective and log fire a bonus.
Village location very good for walking and sightseeing. Pub in village good for food and weekly visit by Fish & Chip van.
Everthing we expected for a quiet, well-appointed Dales cottage.

After booking with Sykes - a simple procedure - we received a welcome phone-call from the owners. On arrival, the heating had been on and the cottage was lovely and clean, cosey and welcoming. The furnishings were first-class and the cottage was well-equipped.
We found it to be conveniently situated for all parts of Wensleydale and for our forays across the snow-bound hills into Swaledale! We made use of the village butchers and good variety of shops in nearby Hawes.
In summary, the cottage provided everything we expected and more for a comfortable stay in the Dales in the depths of Winter, with snug evenings reading by the wonderful wood-burner. We cannot think of any aspect we disliked and would return to repeat the experience.
