Escape to this beautifully decorated home while you watch the ocean from the living room. This centrally located home invited you to relax on one of the porches or in the sumroom. Sleeps 12 (max.), 5 bedrooms (1K-1K-1Q-1BB-1BB,1TR), 4 full baths, 1 half bath. (1) 4 passenger cart. Screened porch. Friday/Friday. 4 pm arrival/11:30 am departure.

Centrally located and access to every amenity on the island. Walk to the
beach. A short ride to play golf or go to the Shoals Club. Half of the fun on
Bald Head is riding around in the golf carts. This house is right in the center
of all the fun stuff on the island. Owner outfitted this house for his family and
not as a rental. The beds, linens, pillows, dishes, furniture...everything is first
class. Well suited for a large family. When I return to Bald Head, I'll stay here
again...and again. Highly recommend!

Kenworthy - My Three Dunes
We have rented 'My Three Dunes' a couple times in
August and once in November. Each time we had quite
a few people including children. The house has a great lay-out for alot of people. You're not on top of each other. Besides the 5 bedrooms, it has 4 social rooms - a screened-in gazebo, a screened in porch, back deck and living room with 2 seating
areas - all comfortably and brightly furnished.
We have rented houses before with barely enough eating utensils and china for a family of 5. This house is extremely well stocked - china & silverware for 12, casseroles, pots and pans, platters, etc. - all in good shape. The linens are in good condition and seem new.
There is something for everyone at Bald Head.
Golf, tennis, swimming in either the ocean or one of the pools, riding bikes, hiking on one of the nature trails, sailing, kayaking or just reading a book on the porch. In November, although it is a little cold for swimming, one can do just about everything else. We even had a very spirited family football game on the beach.
Location, Location Location. 'My Three Dunes'
is just across the street and a short walk to the beach. It's a short golf cart ride to just about everything else. Besides, the golf carts are so much fun to drive.
If one wants to go out to dinner there are at least 2 restaurants on the island. One very casual and one a bit more up scale with delicious food and drinks. There's also a very well stocked grocery store.
One of the things that we like the best about Bald Head is that because it's an island and only accessible by ferry and because there are no cars, children can have more independence and do things on their own that they normally would not be able to do.
Really can't think of anything negative. Even on the occasional rainy day, I love it.
