My wife and I have been coming to BHI for the last decade and have enjoyed every single visit! We decided at the last minute to spend Thanksgiving weekend at BHI after a friend called for a break from the cold weather up north. We found Stones Throw on the BHI website and it turned out to be a nice property. It's location on the East side of the island makes it easy to get to the Maritime Market, the Shoal's Club, and East Beach. The main BHI village takes a few more minutes by golf cart, but the solitude and quiet of that part of BHI is worth it! The house had the normal amenities including a golf cart, kitchen stocked with cookware, and linens. An added bonus was wireless internet, and new flat screen TVs in the living room and master bedroom (unlike the pictures on the BHI website, which show old tube TVs.) There were 2 bikes in the garage, but unfortunately they were locked, which was odd. We spend our time enjoying the beaches and hiking, so no problem with that. I would say that 2 couples and not more than 2 children could stay here comfortably, but the 4 person golf cart might be tight depending on the age of the children. Overall, another great rental property on BHI!

The house was very nicely furnished and has a great porch. The location was close to several beach access points, Shoals Club, park, etc., making it an easy walk.
The four passenger cart was adequate for our family of five (2 adults and 3 small children) but may be problematic if there were 6 adults (ie., 2 adults in each of the 3 bedrooms) or some other similar combination.
The house had two adult bicycles but unfortunately they were not available for use (locked up).
Oddly, there was only one pitcher in the kitchen and minimal pots/pans, otherwise the kitchen was furnished adequately.
