The Villa is nestled in the heart of the Batubelig area and is in close proximity to the prestigious Canggu Private Members Club. It is less than 10 minutes walk to the beach on Baliβs south-western coast, and just a few minutesβ drive from the trendy Seminyak area, with its glamorous lifestyle and wide choice of top, internationally-acclaimed restaurants including the famous Ku De Ta, La Lucciola, Metis, Sardine and Sarong.
Naughty Nuriβs, the well-known place for ribs in Ubud, has also opened a second restaurant only 5 minutes walk away from Villa Asta.
Bali Deli, a delicatessen style supermarket that is the favorite haunt of many visitors to Bali, lies only ten minutes away, and the new Canggu Delicatessen is a few minutes journey by car.
The Villa is located 25 minutes from the international airport, and is also convenient for all of the main shopping areas, Waterbom Park, and tourist attractions such as the dramatic and venerated Tanah Lot sea temple, perched on a craggy wave-lashed rock at the edge of the foaming white surf of the Indian Ocean.

We stayed for 6 nights as a family of 8 adults and 2 kids (aged 2 and 4). We could not rave about this place enough. The rooms are all big, clean and air-con. 2 rooms have outdoor baths and plunge pools. All have outdoor showers.
The pool and outdoor living area was perfect for our family to relax in. Food was delicious (you must enjoy the "special dinner" one night of your stay). The special touches the staff go to are amazing.
Breakfasts are huge with lots to choose from - fresh juice, eggs, pancakes, pastries, fruit, toast.
You can order off the menu during the day and the staff were more than happy to accommodate special requests for the kids. Cocktails were delicious and happily served to us in the pool!!
Rai and team could not have looked after us any better. The villa is equipped with everything you could want - high chair, cot, table tennis, pool table, pool floats, sunscreen, mossie spray, Dvds, mags, etc. They even went to the shops for us on the first day to stock up on groceries for us for the week. The driver (Wayan) was kind and knowledgeable about the local area. He waited patiently for us outside shops and restaurants and always welcomed us with a smile.
Rai made numerous bookings and restaurant recommendations - nothing was too much trouble including a late checkout until 7pm on our last day.
About a 10 min drive into Seminyak Square but having a driver (with a van that fits 11 people) made this no problem whatsover. Note the traffic in general can be quite bad so suggest planning trips outside of peak times as best as possible.
We took the bikes for several bike rides around the local area and felt safe at all times. Only a 5 minute ride to the beach and about 10 minutes to Canguu Club (great if you are looking for a gym - otherwise, don't bother). The pool at the villa is much nicer!
Recommend lunch at Naughty Nuri's for ribs. Waterbom was great fun for all ages. Slippery Stone restaurant was a great tip from Rai.
