StirlingA retreat from reality without sacrificing too many comforts

I rented this house for a group of friends to enjoy some peace and quiet and a time for reflection. The aim was achieved in some style and not only because mobile phones were useless in this relatively remote spot.
Apart from a little updating in the kitchen, the house fulfilled all of our needs and the location was lovely. -

We have stayed in Scotland many times as a family over the years, this holiday was a chance for all the generations to enjoy a quiet time together in an area that we don't know very well [we usually head for the far north west] We will certainly visit this beautiful house and Galloway again. Thank you so much!

The house was well equipped with everyting for a large party. Right down to having cork screw (not all houses have this). plenty of cleaning supplies(dishwasher tablets). Only this was toilet paper,could have used some more in the downstairs bathroom. Great time was had by all.
