In a very peaceful location overlooking the magnificent Braes O’Balquhidder in Scotland’s first National Park, these six excellent cottages are situated in the grounds of the Kingshouse Hotel, 150 metres from the main road. This is the heart of Rob Roy country, at the foot of the Strathyre Forest. Kingshouse is the site of a Royal Hunting Lodge of the Stewart Kings and was rebuilt in 1779 to house the Red Coat patrol which kept the military road safe for travellers.
