This 2 bedroom self-contained unit is fully equipped for housekeeping and relaxing. We are 3 km from downtown Bancroft located on Hwy 28S. You will have a private entrance, parking, use of a 6-person hottub, laundry facilities, wireless internet access, and the use of a day permit for Ontario Provincial Parks. Algonquin Park is one hour to the north, Lake St. Peter Park 30 minutes north, and Silent Lake Park 15 minutes south-west. Great little get-away offering privacy, an excellent rate and a clean and well-maintained self-contained apartment - large full kitchen, a living room, a bathroom with shower, two bedrooms, one with a very comfortable queen-size bed and the other with twin beds. The bedroom we slept in had a sink. Unsure about the other one as we did not use it. The owner is gracious and very helpful. We would definitely return. A bit hard to find without a sign. It is near Monck Road and Hwy. 28.

6 of us stayed there for the Canada day long weekend and had an awesome time! There was food supplied for us, a Jacuzzi, barbque grill with propane tank provided,fire pit with tons of wood at your disposal etc. We were never bored there's a games room and tons of provincial parks nearby. Also the people in the town were very friendly and helpful. Everything you need is a 5min drive away right in the town of Bancroft. i.e. beer store,lcbo,dairy queen,no frills, shoppers drugmart etc. Its a must visit place again.Definitely was a great experience
