Layan Gardens is set in lush tropical gardens, near Bangtao beach, and the Laguna Phuket golf course. It is a new luxury apartment complex in Phuket, close to the famous Laguna complex of hotels, and 2 minutes drive to Layan Beach, which is a protected national park area and is peaceful and really beautiful. Though in a tranquil area, it is only minutes from all ameneties and shops.
Layan beach is the north end of the very long Bangtao beach, and is one of the quietest and loveliest beaches in Phuket, with crystal clear turquoise water, soft white sand, and is lined with trees.

Layan Garden Apartments complex is situated on Phuket's exclusive North West coast. Only two minutes from Laguna Phuket golf course, and beautiful Layan beach, which is the north end of Bangtao beach. It is set in lush tropical gardens which include a tennis court and pitch and putt golf course. It is only 15 minutes from a Tesco supermarket and all the restaurants and shops of Surin Beach. It is only a few minutes from the famous Laguna complex of hotels on Bangtao beach.
If you group is bigger than 7, I also have some three bedroom apartments to let in the same complex. Please ask for details.

The penthouse was perfect for us and we enjoyed every minute at Layan gardens and surroundings. We loved staying there and for the same price we would love to come back. I would like to go every year!

I spent a week in this gorgeous apartment with three other girls for our annual girl's get together. The apartment is beautiful. It's huge with lots of comfortable places to sit and enjoy the lovely view. There is a fully equiped kitchen and the fridge was stocked with complimentary eggs, bread, milk and fruit, which was a great touch. I had the fourth bedroom which really is the Maid's room and not up to the standard of the others. It is probably OK for a child.
The gardens are beautifully maintained and the 40 metre pool with waterfall and big spa is the highlight. It's magnificent. The fridge freezer broke down but the management brought ice for our drinks. The manager was willing and helpful and had basic English, but had difficulty with more complex requests.
We had the use of a hire car for the week which enabled us to drive to Patong (25 minutes)and generally see the sights. The relative isolation of Layan Gardens could be its main drawback for regular holiday makers. We attempted the walk to the beach but it was too far and too hot. A car or taxi is really the only option. Nearby Tinlay Place has a good taylor, massage, a bar and restaurants, only 10 minutes drive. There is also home delivery of excellent Thai meals.

Thanks Diana, I'm glad you and your friends enjoyed your week in the penthouse, and that you enjoyed Layan Gardens. I just want to point out that I agree, the fourth bedroom is very small, and does not in any way compare with the three main double bedrooms, but I have said this clearly in my advertising. It is really only suitable for a child.
Also I agree that car hire is necessary, also stated in my advert. Layan Gardens is in such a peaceful part of the island, away from all the frenetic and crowded tourist places, so its' a lovely quiet place to be with your family or friends, but only 10 minutes in a car to Tinlay Place, or Surin Beach, with many amenities and activities.
The fridge-freezer has been fixed! -

I can honestly say we had an excellent several nights at this lovely penthouse unit which is very well arranged and equipped. Everything you might need is already there and waiting, so we settled in very quickly indeed.
Well decorated and feeling like new, there are various ensuites and balconies for the family to enjoy in addition to the superb living, dining, kitchen and bedroom provisions.
Very spacious in terms of room sizes as well as corridors and communal areas, the penthouse feels amazingly more vast via the upstairs bar / BBQ / jacuzzi / water feature private terrace. There are great sunset views to be enjoyed via the unit's elevated position.
My wife and I travelled with 2 daughters, grandmother and our nanny, all of whom had a wonderful stay. The development is modern, has a lift and boasts various really good pools, if you don't feel like venturing out.
It is not far to Laguna and other shopping / eating / golf venues @ 5 mins by car. The local beach to the development was a great surprise being extremely long and generally clean, with really good surf to enjoy. Busy Patong is a fairly easy 25 min drive further along.
Rider: You will definitely need a car to stay at this property in my opinion, so in case it helps: we hired a 7 seat Toyota Fortuner from one of the companies at the airport. Guide price circa Bhat 1800/day. The advantage of hiring there is convenience of picking up within a 100m walk on arrival, and then when departing ability to drop off the motor till 9pm - when they will take you and your bags over the road to the airport. -

We stayed in this apartment for 10 days. Our twins were three and a half and the youngest just over 2 years and they absolutely loved it. It is a very spacious apartment fitted with all you would need. The sunset views are absolutely fabulous! It is recommended that you rent a vehicle as you'll have to drive most places. However, there's a great Thai restaurant within walking distance. The beach is 1km away but absolutely stunning. The kids had an amazing time there with some wonderful experiences including rides on a very young elephant tight on the beach. This place is great for a family holiday!

"We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday in Phuket. 3 adults from the UK and 2 adults plus 2 children (3 years and 17 months) from australia. We can highly recommend the Penthouse apartment at Layan Gardens. The location is quiet and relaxing, the pool and gardens beautiful and well maintained by the friendly staff. The apartment is very spacious and very well equipped. The booking process was very easy and Jacquie responds very promptly to any queries. Khun Pooh in the management office on site was very helpful and charming.
The wifi access and TV plus DVD were all extra facilities that were appreciated. The local restaurants fabulous some offering delivery or transport to and from their establishments. We particularly enjoyed the golf cart ride to the 360 cocktail bar next door for cocktails at sunset. Khun Pooh assisted us with hiring a 7 seater 4WD vehicle which enabled us to see much of the island and do the all important supermarket trips.
Despite having 3 lovely pools to choose from on the complex the kids treated the roof terrace jacuzzi as their fourth pool! The local beach is very beautiful and clean."

We stayed in this penthouse in Layan Gardens with our friends, and all of us thought the apartment was perfect, exactly what we wanted. Near the beach, away from the mad crowds in Patong (yet only 25 minutes drive away, when we felt like mad crowds!) near loads of restaurants, but peaceful and private when we returned to the apartment. The management office was super helpful, very responsive when we had a couple of small problems, and gave us lots of tips about where to go, and what to do. It's so nice having back up like that, and made a big difference.
The booking process was easy and quick, with Jacquie giving immediate answers to all our long list of queries, and the property was exactly as described, though the photos did not show the fabulous views properly. The apartment appears completely new and unused, with all furnishings and fittings of a superior quality, luxurious but understated and simple.
Our favourite time of the day was relaxing with a cold beer in the roof-top jacuzzi after a day on the beach, watching the sunset, followed by a barbecue on the roof terrace. No need to go out - we had everything we wanted right there.
We will certainly stay there next time we go to Phuket, far cheaper and nicer than a hotel, and so much freedom to eat what and where you want, and we loved the privacy.

We just got back from a wonderful holiday in Phuket. The apartment was lovely, very well equipped and everything high quality, perfect for our family of 5. Gorgeous views from the balconies and the roof garden, and we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. We hired a car for a few days but on the days we had no transport, we used local taxis. The extremely nice manager Khun Pooh is so helpful, and nothing we asked was too much trouble. She ordered taxis for us, which came within 4 or 5 minutes - 200 baht to the beach, 300 to the Tesco supermarket, and 300 to the Lotus Restaurant, a fabulous place to eat on the beach, hard to beat for atmosphere and food. Some nearby restaurants picked us up in a golf-cart, free of charge, and others delivered to the apartment.
Layan beach is lovely and so peaceful, nice to get away from the crowds. The apartment is in a great location, We'll definitely go back there next time we are in Phuket, and will recommend it to our friends.

Beautiful apartment, perfect beach location
The penthouse was great for a relaxing family holiday with two small children. The pool and gardens are beautiful, and the management office very helpful with everything we wanted. Only a couple of minutes by tuk tuk from the quiet end of Bangtao beach and we loved the local Thai beach restaurants - excellent quality and value, we could relax in the shade with a drink, while the children played in the sand, and then all cool off in that beautiful clear water. The children loved the baby elephant rides along the beach at sunset. The apartment is luxurious and comfortable, very well equipped, and lots of space, a perfect location for the beach and everything else. We would definitely recommend it and look forward to returning when we have the chance.

We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday in this apartment. Its great - very spacious and extremely high quality, well equipped, and in a perfect location. Good to have the free wifi internet too. It's only a couple of minutes by tuk tuk to Layan beach, or a 10 minute walk, and also close to the Laguna resort, and lots of great restaurants. Best to hire a car to get around Phuket island, and the management office here were really helpful in finding us a car, and telling us places to go. A very peaceful area - and we had the huge pool to ourselves most of the time. We loved it, and will certainly be back next year, and will tell our friends about it.
