Jan's penthouse was a superb apartment to stay at! Our group of friends stayed there for three days and it was an incredible time! The apartment is stunning with gorgeous views of Bangkok. It's impeccably maintained and felt like a luxury apartment. It's a short walk from the BTS line which can take you to the city and also close to the ferry which is very cheap and easy to use. Jan was very helpful and informative. He provided us with a list of things to do in Bangkok and places to eat which made our experience that much better. Would certainly recommend staying there!

When we walked in this appartment, we felt like entering a home where it gives you a warm embrace. Furniture are well chosed and likely new. If every guest is taking care of the things like its their own, it lasts fir long time. The view is breath taking.. Jan is a reliable Person and is always available, even if he's far away. He also sent us informations around the place we where staying, we appreciated. It wasn't our first time in bangkok and we wanted to explore something new. The appartment is located just near the city center across the river. You can take either the taxi, boat or skytrain to anywhere.

The stay at your condo at the light house was brilliant. The penthouse is very clean and had everything that a person would need. The light house is in a great location and transport is very easy to obtain. (I do suggest that you take the BTS as one day we had an appointment in upper Sukhumvit at 10.30 am we left at 9.30am taking a taxi thinking this would be plenty of time. We arrived at 11.15. Take the BTS. )
Your staff ( Horn ) and the staff at the light house are very helpful and respectful.
In the afternoon on most days between 5.00pm and 6.00pm a nice breeze comes through so sitting on the balcony havening a nice cold drink is a relief from the Bangkok heat.
Would I recommend staying at Jan's penthouse? Yes
Would I stay there again? 100% yes

You're right the the skytrain is a better option then a taxi, after 20H I take always a taxi but during daytime the skytrain go a lot faster!

My wife, our two teenage children and I stayed in Jan's penthouse condo for a week and it was excellent. The kids really enjoyed having their own bedroom with views and free hi speed internet. The condo is in a quiet but up market area only a stones throw to the river and a 5 minute walk to the BTS skytrain station. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate in booking it again. Jan provided heaps of info on what to do and where to eat and his Thai manager Korn is really friendly and helpful

a big thanks to Jan for agreeing to a holiday swap, his apartment had spectacular views and was in an ideal location for a range of public transport to get to all the attractions
the locals were all really friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
there is a japanese/chinese restaurant next to the coffee shop at the base of the building that we can certainly recommend -

Our family of 5 adults and 1 toddler had a great time at Jan's penthouse. Its spacious and nicely furnished. The pool and gym are great and the front desk staff were very helpful. Some five star hotels are just across the road and there are some restaurants and an open area downstairs as well - so very convenient for those travelling with babies.

Glad we made the right choice to stay at Jan's Penthouse. Everything you need is just a finger tip away. It is clean and has easy access to the BTS. Also, there is a 24hrs Tops Supermarket situated steps away from the Penthouse, where we found it very convenient as we were travelling with children.
We have no hesitation in recommending Jan's Penthouse to anyone and families for staying in Bangkok.

Easy to access the sky train nearby, much better than taxis. very well appointed, everything you need is available,great pool and gym. Korn greets you with great smile and very helpful. Take a few days in Bangkok and enjoy the penthouse and all Bangkok has to offer. Air conditioning keeps you cool and the bathrooms are fantastic. Thanks Jan for a lovely stay. The appartement is luxury furnished and has an astonishing view over Bangkok and the Chaophraya River.
Check in and out was easy and in time.

This condo was ideal ofr our family of four. Separate bedrooms and bathrooms were ideal for our teenage children. Restaurants and supermarket downstairs were very handy. Once you work out the ferry service, a easy boat trip gets you to the main ferry dock and BTS station. WiFi works well and the codo is well maintained. The owner Jan, is very responsive to emails and is very organised. Thanks Jan!

As a German couple knowing Thailand for two decates now, this time we wanted to spend 2 weeks in Bangkok. The Lighthouse Condo is a perfect alternative to a hotel and due to a maid service every other day and comfortable bed/bath and livingroom you have a first class feeling all the time. The connection to every spot in Bangkok is just perfect as you have the BTS sky train in walking distance and plenty of boat transfers anyway. There is still some construction work going in the building itself. So it is not a silent hide way. Finally: you need to be free from giddiness otherwise you can not enjoy the balcony!

Wonderful modern, clean apartment in fantastic location - easily accessed by BTS and Chao Praya transit - amazing views from rooms and balcony - nice pool and workout facilities. Restaurants, ATM and shops downstairs as well as down the street - street food just a short walk away as well - foot massage and Thai massage all nearby too! Great location and property.

We enjoyed our stay at the clean and neat 3-bedroom penthouse for our family of 5. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of central Bangkok. We liked the Italian restaurant at the ground floor of the building and the Thai massage place 50 paces away. The owner and his manager are both very friendly with excellent communication.
Remember to bring soap and shampoo. Dine at the Peninsula across the street!

Its was a great experience staying the penthouse @ the lighthouse condo. Korn was very helpful and will respond to any enquires given by you.
Besides that, the security guards are also very nice and helpful. Was grateful to one of the lady mending the main door as I dropped my passtport that night. She was kind and return it to the receptionist.
Great view, nice rooms. Definately going back to visit there next trip. Plus, jan was also very helpful and responsives to all my emails and enquires too. A trust worthy guy to deal with.

Great place to stay, I prefer to stay in apartments as don't like the fuss in hotels. Penthouse in a fantastic location just a short walk to river boats and train services. I liked the fact that we had a private bathroom and bedroom each, and then a really large living space where we planned our days ahead. Remember to take Jans business card with address when going out, it is far easier when getting taxis back. Korn could not have been more helpful or polite he was there to greet and show us around. We had the pool area all to ourselves and it was so refreshing not to have other guests around

We are a big family with 4 almost grown-up children and the penthouse was ideal for our purpose.
We stayed there four nights. Best decision in the beginning of our stay was to ask Mr. Korn to be our guide for one day. He took us to the main attractions and we got plenty of useful advices from him. It cost us around EUR 25 and it was best day we spent in Bangkok.
Nearest sky-train station was about 10-15 minutes walk away from the Lighthouse. Mostly we used taxis and tuk-tuk as we were 4-6 persons when we went out.
Ps. Near the station there is one of the Bangkok's "geo hiding-place". Find it and sign the list as we did!
Lighthouse was very well guarded and we felt secured. Penthouse was great decorated and very cosy. The view was tremendous! From the balcony you can see also the beautiful top of the building where the famous Ski Bar is located (well known from the film Hangover 2) Worth of visiting the 63 floor for one drink!
We used the swimming pool every day. Most of the time it was like our private pool as it seemed that it was not used so much from other people.
Also the shop downstairs which was always open was good place to buy the drinks so we didn't have to carry heavy bottles very far.
Our stay was great and if we ever go back to Bangkok our choose will be Jan's place!

We were very happy with our stay at Jan's penthouse in Bangkok in October 2012. There was a group of 6 of us and our baby, everything run very smoothly and Korn was very helpful on our arrival and departure.
The penthouse is lovely and has an amazing view at night. We found it easy to get around too as the skytrain is closeby and you can easily catch the boats and do river cruises too via the Peninsula hotel.

Jan the owner was always available to answer any questions via email,
and sorted out our early check in as we arrived at the penthouse at 8:30am
after a 13 hour flight from the UK. That was much appreciated.
We stayed 3 nights in the penthouse to celebrate my 50th birthday,
and also reunite with my son who had been back packing for over a year.
We could not have picked a better location or property for it.
Korn the manager was there to greet us and show us round the penthouse even though we arrived very early.
He was also there when we left and even sorted us a taxi to the airport.
The best thing for me was the views over the city and river.
Nearly all the major city attractions can be picked out from the balcony.
We also enjoyed an evening swim each night in the pool as the sun went down.
Easy walk to river taxi and train station.
Taxis are plentiful outside the building and can easily be hailed at any time day or night.
There are 2 or 3 good mini markets in and close by for all your grocery needs.
It was my first visit to Bangkok but won't be my last.
If the penthouse is available the next time I go I will definitely book it again.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It fit our group of six perfectly (three couples) each had their own bedroom and bathroom. It was extremely well furnished and clean. The view out the many windows and balcony were outstanding. The main lobby staff was always very kind. The manager was awaiting my arrival and took the time to show me around and answer all my questions. He was very professional and kind. My friends were all very impressed by this penthouse. And the location is great, near the river. You cannot go wrong if you are a family or group and rent this penthouse.

Jan's apartment has three very large bedrooms with king size beds and three decent bathrooms. The kitchen is functional and even includes a dryer. The lounge is comfy and the views from every window are amazing. The manager Korn was very helpful and obviously really cares about taking care of the apartment and ensuring your stay is pleasant.
There is a short stroll to the pier for the ferry across to Saphan Taksin BTS station or you can walk from the apartment to Krung Thon Buri station (about 5 to 10 minutes). There is a fantastic massage available next door at the massage school and there are many convenience stores downstairs and across the road. The restaurants downstairs are great, we tried the Italian one and also 'Meat Up' which is a Korean/Japanese BBQ. Yum! We also ate at the beautiful Thiptara restaurant at The Peninsular Hotel across the road. There are a lot of other places to try along the road towards the Hilton but we ran out of time. We even noticed a cooking school!

It was a first trip for me and a bunch of my secondary school classmates and we decided to select an apartment with enough room for 6, so that we could have a common area to spend time together. Jan's penthouse was the perfect choice as had enough bedrooms and toilets for 6 girls!
We were met by Jan's manager Korn who took us on a tour of the place and pointed out directions for us to get to the train station as well as surrounding amenities.
The apartment was clean and neat and had everything we needed to make our trip enjoyable. The view of from the apartment was fantastic and we had a hard time leaving to explore and shop in Bangkok.
It was a short walk to the train station and as Jan was kind enough to leave calling cards with the address of the penthouse in thai, it was easy to explain to taxi drivers how to get back to the penthouse. The file of things to do in BKK was also very useful!
Overall it was a good experience and would definitely recommend this place to friends traveling in groups or families wanting to travel together! one thing that was missed in terms of information was the BTS map, but that is easily available at the BTS station when we arrived there.Response from Jan De Caluwe - 09/11/2012

The place is clean, spacious and homey. The manager who greeted us when we arrived (and at check out) was polite, helpful and friendly. The apt is in good condition, even bedsheets smell of newly washed linen. Only slight downside is the location, which is a little away from main city, but going by boat and transfer to BTS on the other side is still very convenient. Highly recommend this place and will surely stay here again when I next visit Bangkok!!

I very been to Bangkok many times and this time, me and my 5 friends thought of trying out a pent house stay instead of a regular hotel. we were in for a terrible shock. we stayed in this apt for 5 nights and 6 days and 2.lifts were.out of service the whole 6 days only 1 lift was working and it always takes a long time.before that lift reaches. we were told that the apt will be cleaned once every 2 days, instead the apt was.only cleaned once ( on the second day), on the 5th day we asked why wasn't there cleaning done, we were told that there will not be cleaning as we are.leaving the next day and its just one day, we should just bear with it. in addition, we tried to ask for.additional towels on the first day and was denied. my overall.impression of my stay was terrible and the house.manger was only concern that we.do not.damage the place. given the money we.paid, we could have easily get a.decent quality with better service. I do not r2commend this to anyone thinking of going to Bangkok.

Thanks for your feedback but it's seems that we can't do anything good for you.
I've sent you 2 mails the first days to see that everything was fine and I asked you if you've any special requests but without any answer.
My manager provide more then enough towels for the guests (2 per person) but my penthouse is not a party place like it's written at my website. The whole penthouse was so dirty, I never saw it in 15 months that I rent out my place.
Probably you need to book a 5 star hotel next time but I'm sure you can't party there.
I'm happy with the other 37 good "honest" reviews we had from families all over the world!

Amazing location and luxurious apartment. The Lighthouse condo provided an inspiring view of the city from the very first night we arrived. Just a couple of minutes walk from the river, it was ideal to visit Wat arun, Wat Pho and the Grand Palace. Jan, the owner was so helpful before the trip and Korn,the manager, made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of useful tips to help us explore the city.

This apartment could not have been more perfect for myself, my husband and our two girls. The rooms were large and bright, with enormous windows in each room that hat offered amazing views. It was immaculate - with clean linens and furniture that looked brand new. When you travel with kids, having more than one bathroom and a kitchen makes everything so much easier. This place has 3 bathrooms - one for each bedroom, a full kitchen and a washer/dryer machine (you won't find many washers that actually have the dryer function as well in Thailand). The pool on the 5th floor was quiet and nice, with a fitness room next door. Plenty of food on the street, a little grocery store on the first floor and a 10-minute walk to the BTS. Good massage place next door. The Peninsula is right across the street for drinks and nice dinners. The owner, Jan, and our Thai contact, Korn, were both terrific to deal with and the transactions easy and professional. Why pay for a 5-star hotel when you can have all this?

We stayed in this Penthouse for one week and I felt at home immediately. The management is very friendly and helpful. The building is well secured. As mentioned in the description, views over the river and the city of Bangkok are fantastic. Rooms are spacious and clean and luckily all have air-conditioning. The sky train is nearby and a very handy and cheap way to travel around. The boat is a nice way to cross the river to visit the Shangri-La Hotel area. There are some very nice restaurants in the neighborhood and it's so handy to have a shop downstairs that's open all night.

I'm constant visitor to Bangkok and I have been in many hotels and apartments in BKK so the next points came from experience :
The Penthouse :
- It's all as it shown in the photos nothing fake.
- The building is located in a quiet but very central area not on traffic congestion , easy to found , not far to go to any place .
- Close to river with a fantastic view that will catch your eyes and heart day and night.
- Nearby sky-train station (approx 5 - 10 mins) on foot , find taxi take less than 1 minute : just 1 step in front of the building and raise your hand in anytime.
- The mini supermarket in the same building open 24/7 .
- Security staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
- Without the magnetic card which you will get from the manager you will never get in or out of the building.
- Free car parking.
- Clean , modern and comfortable furniture .
- led TV with many channels , free high speed Wifi and iPod - iPhone speakers with aUX port .
- Equipped kitchen with all your needs.
- ...
In short :
Its pleasure and comfort for me to spend that few days in this penthouse . It is a place worthy of admiration. In fact , it will be my first choice in Bangkok .

We (a family of 6 with a young baby) stayed in this beautiful apartment for roughly a week in early May. It is conveniently located along the river (though not in the shopping mall areas) and in a good neighborhood - right opposite the Peninsula Hotel and has a small park nearby where the locals mingle and exercise. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the public pier (through the park) and another few minutes to cross the famous river to get to Taksin BTS (and Siam BTS is just 10 min away, if not less). Alternatively, a quick 10-15 min taxi ride to Silom/Sathorn area during the non-peak hours. In terms of food, right downstairs, there are a Tops Daily (a mini supermarket), Scoozi Pizza, shabu shabu (average) and an all you can eat grill restaurant. Abundance of street food just outside the building on the main road too. The 2-floor spacious penthouse was tastefully renovated - simple yet modern with all the equipment you need. Wifi signal is good throughout the whole apartment. It was rather hot when we were there (nearly 40 Celsius degrees during the day and also hot in the evening), so we had to keep the air con on all the time - which worked very well. I reckon that it would be a lovely thing to have some boozes in the balcony during sunset during the cooler months, so when we are back to BKK in a cooler season, we would definitely consider to stay here again!

Service - The local manager provided check in and out help without fault. The owner was very communicable throughout and the block security were extremely friendly and helpful.
Apartment - spacious, very clean and secluded so no one over looks your balcony. All cutlery, bed sheets and towels provided. Furniture is worth a mention comfortable couch and beds.
Location - The immediate vicinity is reassuringly more local and less claustrophobic but you are only a few minutes by taxi from all the action or a few minutes' walk to some Major Hotels.
Amenities - So very convenient, Atms, 24hr super market and several restaurants all at the base of the apartment block
The accomodation suited us as we wanted somewhere that felt like you are staying at a 'freinds house', rather then a hotel. Especially as we all flew in to BKK from around the world just for the weekend it worked out perfectly!

The penthouse was unbelievable: penthouse over 2 floors, greatest view over Bangkok, if there are problems the house keeper is helpful,
From the lighthouse tower everything important (for tourists) is reachable in few minutes by taxi or skytrain.
Shops and restaurants for daily needs are reachable by foot, some even in the same building.
Because the penthouse is located in the 30th and 31st floor you hear no rumours of the streets and the air is much better than down in the streets.
No problems with TV and Wlan. The great view over the city is even enjoyale from all of the bedrooms.
The organization of the penthouse rent was quick and wonderful. The penthouse owner was very helpful by clearing all our open issues and questions.
We had absolutely nothing to complain. When we come to Bangkok again, we would love to rent this apartment again. Absolutely recommendable!

Absolutely wonderful! The owner is easy to work out arrangements with and the on-site manager is friendly and helpful.
The Penthouse is very well equipped and is perfectly situated for travel in Bangkok with Sky Train Stations and water taxis nearby.
Our party of seven thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner even thoughtfully provided a written guide to local restaurants and to use of the Penthouse's features.
The view of the river and city is wonderful. Everything you could reasonably want or need is provided.

We stayed five days in this well appointed and thoroughly furnished and accessorized penthouse. We could not have been happier.
With water taxi and BTS (Skytrain) stations close by, getting about the city could not be easier.
There is a local manager who is friendly and helpful and the building staff are most friendly and courteous. Everything you could reasonably need or want is provided and the owner even provides a written guide to the apartment and local area, (restaurants, etc.).

Just had 4 nights at The Lighthouse Penthouse and had a great time. We have 2 young children who loved the space. The views are amazing from the balcony which was a great spot to enjoy an evening glass of wine.

This apartment exceeded all of our expectations. The owner was great to us, as was the really helpful manager. We found the property to be well located, close to river, public transport and the 5 star hotels too. The decor and furnishings are very pleasing and the place is very comfortable with amazing views of Bangkok. We also found it super convenient to have a 24 hour grocery/convenience store in the building. The air-conditioning and TV systems worked great and the wifi was super fast. Everything was as advertised, plus! Highly recommended.

We were in this nice penthouse for 10 days. All of our family members were happy and felt really comfortable. Convenient to catch public transport, many nice restaurants nearby and even Tops supermarket located in the same building. That made living in busy BKK a lot easier.
The penthouse is spacious, nice decorated and full furnished. You will have more than you need there. Of course, we would like to recommend further and would like to stay there again when we are in BKK next time. -

We stayed at the apartment in Sept 2011. It is well set out, spacious, clean and modern. Fittings and amenities within the apartment are excellent, and include a microwave, cooktop, washing machine and a large fridge. Bathrooms are well appointed and the living area with comfy lounge is great for families or groups. The views over the river and around Bangkok are amazing. It is an easy walk to the Peninsular Hotel. Although it is not right in the city, the apartment is great value for money and I would definitely recommend it to others.

We went to Bangkok in a family group including an elderly and children with infants. I was very satisfied with the booking and checking in process which went very smoothly. Thanks to both Mr Jan and Mr Korn who were very accomodating.
As thre were kids, I was very concern with them breaking things but Mr Korn helped us to clear up the breakables.
The apartment was very comfortable, nicely decorated. My mother liked it so much as it was home like ie she can do a lot of cooking.
It was also very convenient as there were several sundry shops nearby.
There was a lovely swimming pool but we had limited time to enjoy it more.

there are many different of apartments rental that you can find easily over the internet, but i have the one that i stay is truly amazing and i'll never regret.
The apartment was really Clean and Organised, and everything was really simple, so if you've kids, it should not be a problem. And the room cleaning service have really hotel standard.
The manager of the apartment is a friendly and easily to approach, so if you ever encountered any problem, i am sure he'll be there to assist you, and he speak pretty good English.
Why is it amazing? Lets talk about the Location. The Light House is situated by the river, where you could easily enjoy some dinner at the balcony while looking at the riverside view. Its really romantic, if u're bringing your love ones. And it is not very far from the heartland area of Bangkok, although "weekend market" could be the furthest, but still there's a public transport nearby(approx 5 - 10 mins)[excluding Taxi, which is always available at all times].
Public Transportation, there are many ways of travelling to the Heartland area of bangkok from the apartment, such as River taxi, Hotel River Transfer, BTS, Taxi, Tuk tuks. that you can actually find near the apartment.
Basic stuffs can be easily purchased at the local area marts, even medicines if you ever need one.
Food! of cos in bangkok, u're obviously have to eat their food. They have really really nice food near the vicinity. If you ever stay at this apartment, please do try the chicken rice and duck rice. its really too cheap and delicious! totally worth it!
I choose this apartment over Hotels, its totally because i am going with friends. so we can actually take care with one another in a foreign country , i believe safety come first.
Overall this is a worth it apartment. i hope my reviews have clear your doubts.

The unit is comfortably equipped with the essentials. We were warmly welcomed by the manager Korn on the first day. The unit is strategically located facing the river with spectacular night views.
The condo is also 10 mins away from BTS and about 5 mins away from taking the ferry, so transport is convenient.
Holidaying with my wife, 2 young kids and my mum, they all have good feedback about this stay. We already starting to miss our stay at the unit. -

I am Thai living in Europe, come back to my mother land almost every years..I decided not to stay in my own house in bangkok.The website showed a suberb apartment and I was not disappointed: superb it is. The building is located in a quiet but very central area, the so called Golden River area because all the most important hotels are all located there. We were 5 people
The apartment was stunning,big spaces. Comfortable king size beds with fresh and immaculate pillows and blankets, perfect rooms lightning, fast internet access.The roof terraces with a river view were just perfect for our evening drinks, Bangkok was right in front of us, at its best. The pool is not big but it's well kept. We liked the game areas and the gym.

The apartment is good value for money if you are a group of 6 adults and also ideal for a family with children. The accomodation was very comfortable and relaxed. The location is not in the middle of noisy Bangkok (not close to tourist areas, i.e. Patpong) but in a quiet section with easy access to public transport. It provides all the comforts and conveniences of home, i.e. linens, towels, kitchen equipment,a hair dryer and a local SIM card! The owner is reliable and there is a manager who is available to help out.
The one item I was not very happy about was paying for bank charges which were taken out of the downpayment I made and tacked on to the balance I paid. I suggest to avoid this hidden/unexpected cost/expense is to pay in full upon check in (something that is an option mentioned but not recommended). Just be aware that the owner's bank charges a fee to receive payments.

Now, in order to avoid high cost for bank transfers, I will open a bank account in Bangkok where the clients can transfer the down payment without paying high charges.

Staying there for ten days , wouldn't mind at all to stay longer.Out of my bed overlooking the beautiful skyline of Bangkok , seeing all kinds of decorated boots floating on the amazing Chao Phaya River.
Having a shouwer with a fantastic view.
While having a drink dreaming away on the balcony.
Feeling at home at the cosy decorated livingroom with all needs available.
The place to be out off the busy busy center still very easy to get there by skytrain or taxi.
Realy getting value what you have payed for and much more.

I loved our stay. Place was modern and comfortable with an excellent view of the city. Good eats and local markets were close by.
We had one slight problem regarding our check-in. The security guard didn't understand any English so we were stuck outside for about a half hour before we were let in.

This was my first experience with asia. And I must say that after nearly 20 hours of travelling we arrived at this amazing new build penthouse.
We had a very warm welcome by the manager who immediately made us feel welcome! All the rooms with own bathroom have an amazing view over the city. All the essentials are foreseen.
The penthouse has a great location! It is situated nearby the river and only a couple of minutes away from the skytrain. Main tourist attractions are easily accessible. Furthermore a lot of typical Thai restaurants are in walking distance.
And finally nothing is better to come home after a long day of sightseeing and sipping a nice drink on the terrace with an amazing view over Bangkok.
This is truly a gem and even a better value for the money!

We had a very pleasant stay in this 3 bedroom apartment! Being with 3 couples, the 3 separate bathrooms of this duplex apartment are an absolute must.
The new apartment is decorated with much taste and feels very homy! With the daily cleaning service, it has all the comfort needed without the hustle of being in a hotel!
Location is superb, with a view on the famous river, just outside the hustle & bustle of BKK, 5 minutes walk from the skytrain, 10 minutes away from Bkk's inspiring centre.

We stayed at the lighthouse for four days and had a great time. The penthouse is on the 31th floor and has an amazing river view.
The manager of the penthouse was very welcoming and helped us right away to get settled and showed us where to go and what to do in Bangkok.
The rooms are large, all with individual bathroom. Anything you need is foreseen, from towels to soap to morning coffee.
In the evenings you can sit on the balcony and enjoy a drink while overlooking the Bangkok skyline.
I definitely recommend this place, true value for money !!! -

It's so nice to be on the 30st & 31st floor. The view from your bedroom is really brilliant! Bedrooms & bathrooms are nice & clean. Spacious duplex penthouse with stylish furnishing, grand views from all 3 rooms. Lovely balcony where we overlooked the new year fireworks that took place all over the river. There's a resort style swimming pool and a small but complete gym. We all felt home right away. All rooms are spacious and have their own bathroom. We didn't have to fight over who gets which room. Lol. The master's bedroom upstairs has it's private entrance and exit, excellent for party animals who don't want to wake up the others when heading home early in the morning. :-) A 10 minute walk to the Skytrain station will bring you to all major shopping malls within 30 to 40 mins. The main tourist attractions are just across the river, a short boat ride away. A decent location that gives you the benefit of value for money! I already booked this apartment again for my april 2011 vacation! The owner is a real cool guy that's easy to talk to in case you have special request or needs! Oh yeah there's also a big landscaped roof deck available for small parties.

The apartment is brand new, located just across from the Peninsula Hotel and almost next door to a great Chinese restaurant and only 10 minute walk from the subway. If you like views this allows you to see the Kings Palace as well as the major sites of Bangkok. You will enjoy it here. Jan's manager met us and advised us where to go and was very helpfull.
