Echelon is unique, newly renovated luxury vacation rental in Sea Point. Styled in elegant contemporary designer fabrics and modern art set against a white palette, makes this an opulent retreat for the self indulgent holiday maker.

This luxury apartment enters into an open plan kitchen and living room area. The kitchen, with gas stove top, convection oven, grill and warming tray has sleek designer cupboards and a smooth, pristine work island. In contrast with this is the grainy earthiness of the huge fossilised shell on the coffee table in the pristine living room. Above the six seater mahogany dining table is a breathtaking crystal dru...m chandelier in dramatic opposition to the bleached whale bone on the living room wall.

The open plan living room space is maximised by seamlessly flowing onto the balau timber decked patio. A foldaway deck-cover awning provides much needed shade and privacy for hot summer days. A private rim flow pool overlooks the majestic Atlantic Seaboard in the distance.

Masses of white cushions and over-sized planters that light up dramatically once the sun goes down make this the ultimate entertainment area.

The master bedroom with king size bed leads off the living room. Ample wardrobe space, glittering Swarovski crystal bedside lamps and a high-gloss mirror frame contrast against the split marble feature wall. The en suite bathroom features a luxurious free standing bath and spacious shower which are discretely kept by sliding panes of frosted glass. The second bedroom has two single beds and a dedicated bathroom.

An informal living room-come home office are split from the formal open plan living and kitchen area by sliding panes of glass. The apartment is air-conditioned, has wireless internet and all the additional amenities including a nespresso coffee machine, meeting the avid traveller’s every need.

  It was our first rental experience in South africa and were extremely happy with the full experience starting from the reservation process, which was extremely smooth and fast, providing all the detailed information related to the appartment and the overall conditions of the rental. The appartment itself has exceeded our expectations in terms of location, volume and overall standing. The check in / check out and house keeping were all perfect!   Spectacular apartment but missing a few basic requirements

  I have just spent a week at Echelon with my mother.
  The apartment is exquisitely kitted out for entertaining, has a huge deck and an amply sized plunge pool.
  The kitchen is wall-to-wall Miele and is open-plan to the 8-seater dinner table, separated by a breakfast bar.
  The deck also has a gas-braai and another 8-seater table and two loungers.
  The main bedroom is adequately sized, and benefits from numerous fitted wardrobes and a large ensuite bathroom with separate shower.
  The second bedroom is markedly smaller and was stuffy in the hot weather.
  It is notable that despite the high-end spec of the flat in general, that there was no aircon.
  Another downside was the building work going on in the vicinity which created some noise in the weekdays.
  The apartment is serviced daily during the week, however there was a mix up with the laundry provider which meant that our linen was not changed for 5 days.
  The apartment currently only has mobile-wifi which in effect only allowed one device to be using it at a time - not very convenient these days as everyone has an iPad/iPhone/laptop etc.
  On the plus side, the apartment is within a short walk from the Seapoint shops, gym, a huge 50m public pool and a well known local restaurant La Perla.
  All in all a good stay.

  Breathtakingly awesome!! Worth every dime!

  This apartment is exactly like the pictures here! Fully equipped with any and everything - DVD player, washing machine/dryer, dish washer, iron and ironing board, private pool, as well as a pool for the apartment block. There is space for everyone in the family. I travelled with my husband and our toddler daughter (21 mths old). The area is very peaceful and secure and the apartment is a 10 min walk from the sea point main road which has a nice selection of banks, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. It is about a 15 min drive to camps bay and the V&A; waterfront. The nox rentals team were awesome. We were able to sort out a chef on some days (from Chardonnay chefs), and a live-out nanny from beyond expectations au pairs - both professional and both recommended by nox rentals. The apartment definitely lived up to expectations and it's serene environment was most certainly what the doctor ordered!
