Acadia Woods features a truly fabulous location for all of the key elements of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Only 2 miles to 3 Park Entrances. Cadillac Mountain Entrance, Duck Brook Entrance and Eagle Lake. Eagle Lake provides one of the best ways to access the carriage roads to start your biking. Acadia Woods is only 4 miles to downtown Bar Harbor. The home is in a very residential neighborhood on a cul-de-sac. The home is NOT visible from the road and provides peace and quite. What a wonderful location for your vacation!!!! Acadia Woods is in Bar Harbor and close to all of the major sights and sounds of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Acadia Woods is 2 miles to the Cadillac Mountain, Duck Brook and Eagle Lake entrances to the park. The very popular Sand Beach and Jordan Pond house are also close by once you enter at Cadillac Mountain entrance.You can also easily access Southwest Harbor and Northeast Harbor, which are key components of Mt. Desert Island which also have trails such as Norumbega, Bald, Perpendicular, Beech Mountain and Long Pond and many, many others. Also the beautiful Bass Harbor Lighthouse.
Want to stay close by and enjoy the privacy? Acadia Woods provides that as well. The house is on a cul-de-sac and not visible from the road as you will drive down to the house. You are surrounded by 2 acres of tranquility and serenity with only the sound of your breathing.
Want to take a hike without getting into the car? Acadia Ridge Trail is accessible out the back door and leads to 2 small streams. Are you concerned about your small children and cars? No need to worry here as they have plenty of room to roam through the grass and trees. Acadia is close to everything, yet provides quiet and relaxation. The house is well equipped with towels, linens and all of the appliances and cooking materials you will need to enjoy your vacation. Need to check your e-mail? Pull out that lap-top and read your e-mails.
Acadia Woods looks and feels like a home and not a rental property. Everything you need to relax and enjoy your vacation is in the house. Besides Acadia Woods providing a fabulous outdoor setting with 2 acres, the inside is pretty comfortable too. There is a huge basement to store your bikes or other equipment you may have. The first floor features a Queen Bed with a full bathroom. The Master Bedroom features a Queen with Television and sitting area. The other 2 bedrooms provide extremely comfortable twin beds. All you need to bring to enjoy your vacation is your family - leave the rest to us! We look forward to having you stay with us this year and again and again and again.........................
