Western Bay Shores is a lovely 4-bedroom home situated on 1.25 acres with 200' of private shore on Western Bay in Trenton. Start your day with awesome sunrises over Acadia mountains and end it gazing at the millions of stars overhead. With plenty of room to spread out, your family can enjoy a picnic lunch at the shore, cozy up to read on one of the two decks, play catch (or fetch) in the fenced in yard, watch a movie, play a game, cook a lobster, or even just take a nap! Enjoy sunbathing, beachcombing, or rent a kayak or canoe to launch from the shore. Relax and enjoy!

Western Shores is located just off MDI (Mount Desert Island) and... centrally located halfway between Ellsworth and the town of Bar Harbor and less than 20 minutes from Acadia National Park, and the Hulls Cove Visitor's center. Hike, bike, birdwatch or enjoy the scenic Loop Road en route to Jordan Pond, Sand Beach and Thunder Hole. Acadia offers many types of activities for young and old, or head to one of the many villages on the island such as Southwest Harbor, Northeast Harbor or Bass Harbor.

The home has four bedrooms (3 have a view to the ocean) including 1 King Master BR with sitting area and own bath, 1 Queen bedroom with full hallway bath, 1 bedroom with 2 full beds on the 3rd floor, and 1 bedroom with 2 twins on the first floor. First floor also features living and dining rooms, kitchen and 1/2 bath.

Washer/dryer, HDTVs, Cable TV, and WIFI throughout. Rainy day? No problem - choose Wii, enjoy a movie or play a board game. Like to cook? Stocked kitchen provides you the basics, cookware, lobster pot and utensils. BBQ Gas Grill and grill utensils, too.

The town of Ellsworth is just 11 miles up the road with quaint shops, and restaurants. Pick up fresh, local produce at the Ellsworth Farmer's Market or visit the historic Woodlawn Museum. And don't forget to stop and enjoy homemade ice cream at one of the local shops too!

Mount Desert Island and Bar Harbor (11 miles) feature numerous shops, whale watching and other boating and sight-seeing excursions, movie theater, comedy club, dining (favorites are Cafe This Way and McKays or head to Town Hill Bistro in Town Hill).

Attractions: Whether you have kids or not, check out Diver Ed, who launches daily excursions from the College of the Atlantic (20 minutes). It's a fantastic, must do activity. Other favorites include Pirates Cove Adventure Miniature Golf and Abbe Museum.

Perfectly located just off the MDI (Mount Desert Island) our waterfront cottage has 1.25 acres, including 200' of private shoreline and a fenced-in backyard for your kids, or the family pet. The cottage is conveniently located between Ellsworth and downtown Bar Harbor (11 miles either way). Close proximity to Acadia National Park and access to hiking, biking, birding and wonderful views along the Park Loop Road.
