We really enjoyed our stay at Lecciotondo. The farmhouse was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is located on top of hill with stunning views overlooking the countryside. On arrival we was welcomed by antonella, who was very friendly and helpful, and brought gifts of homemade wine, olive oil and a yummy cake...thankyou for that! The farmhouse is a perfect base for driving around Tuscany for day visits, and Poggibonsi is a 5 minute drive away, which has all amenities (supermarkets, restaurants etc). If you're looking for rustic Tuscan charm, this is the place for you. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

We stayed for one short week (last week!) in this villa and loved it! The location is absolutely perfect, the apartment is absolutely delightful and antonella is absolutely wonderful. It's set high on a hill in an antique vineyard/farmhouse overlooking gorgeous Tuscan countryside; situated perfectly to visit Siena, San Gimignano, Florence, Pisa and the Chianti regions. (Note: Be sure to make a reservation to tour the winery right up the hill: Castello della Paneretta.) Antonella Stella is as lovely as her name sounds; she is the perfect host and provides a helpful guest guide with local tips for day trip, regional restaurants and shopping. If you are planning a trip to Tuscany--look no further than this little gem! Buon Viaggio.

We stayed at this apartment during the last week of June and we absolutely loved it! We were greated warmly by antonella and her parents with some local treats including a lovely wine, delicious home baked cake and olive oil - thanks a lot for that again! Antonella is a great host and she gave us a few great recommendations. incl nice restaurants and a great cheese shop in the area (cheers expecially for the last one antonella, we did find it!). The place is very quiet and it's a great spot to relax. At the same time it's a great gateaway to visit the whole Tuscany due to its great location right in the middle between Siena and Florence. We would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who whishes to spend a few quiet, relaxing days in Italy!

We enjoyed our stay at Lecciotondo very much.
Antonella gave us a warm welcome, including a delicious home-baked cake -- a delightful touch. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, comfortable, and had a great view of the Tuscan countryside.
One does need a car to get around, even for local shopping, but since the apartment is so well located for day trips to San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa, etc., one will doubtless have a car anyhow.
A great interlude between visiting the big cities. Highly recommended.

Your warm hospitality, kindness and friendliness made us feel like Home away from Home!! Your Mom and Dad brought back so many memories, as I was raised in Boston in an Italian neighborhood. The veggies, wine,cake, beans were just out of this world. We will recommend this place to many people and lot's of family back in the USa!!! Our owners was very kind, and they care very much about us. Everything was prepar for our arrival. It was very clean. The book with all the information regarding the area, the adress of the grocery, the cheese shop and everything we need was great. I already recommend this house for a fried of mine and she love it to. Thank you for everything antonella.

We really appreciate the warm welcome from antonella and her parents. The farmhouse is ideally located in a very quiet and beautiful place with a quick access to all tourist attractions as Florence, Siena, Pisa, Volterra. The apartment is very well furnished and clean. There is also a very nice typical Tuscany view on grape and olive fields.

Sometimes there are no words to describe an experience. You have to live it. However, if I have to explain something about Fara Fontani I would say: friendly family, wonderful place and unforgettable experience.

From the first warm greeting to the last farewell, our stay at the Fonani's lovely apartment was everything we expected and more. We were made to feel very welcome and immediately felt at home. The decor is authentic, tasteful and very comfortable. We loved being able to enjoy the kitchen and make our own meals from local produce which we enjoyed indoors and out on the patio overlooking the vineyards... it was quiet, secluded and private whilst still being near to shopping ammenities- the local supermarket was indeed super and had fantastic and reasonably priced foods and wines. Signora Fontani, Her husband and her daughter who spoke fluent English, made sure that we had an unforgettable stay- you could not wish for better hosts! And this is s real review! I would definitely recommend a stay at Lecciotondo to anyone!
