This rustic one-bedroom apartment in Barceloneta is the ideal choice for a romantic getaway. Located close to the beaches as well as the historic downtown, you will be able to experience all that Barcelona has to offer. This apartment is the ultimate choice for couples and can accommodate up to two people.A mixture of modern and classic elements such as original ceiling beams, exposed brick walls and parquet flooring will make you feel right at home. The living room has a comfortable sofa and a TV, where you can relax at the end of the day.The kitchen area is compact but modern and fully equipped with a full electric oven, two-station stove,... microwave, dishwasher, and fridge. Pots, pans, glasses, crockery, and cutlery are all provided as well.The bedroom has a double bed, while a wardrobe and bedside table help facilitate your comfort during your stay. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Barceloneta is a neighborhood in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona. It is known for its expanse of beaches , as well as its numerous bars and seafood restaurants . You will find the town close to the famous Barcelona port, near to some great museums, and within a short walking distance or a quick metro ride from all of the top spots for sightseeing in the city. La Barceloneta was originally constructed for the residents of La Ribera, who were displaced by the construction of the Ciutadella fortress built by King Felipe V in the 18th Century. Since then, with the development of Port Vell and Port Olímpic, the area has become a major attraction for tourists and residents. Nearby is the Barcelona aquarium and IMAX theatre, a large shopping center called Maremagnum, and a number of nightclubs, although the neighborhood itself is relatively quiet. If you walk down Passeig de Colom from Barceloneta, you will soon find yourself at Las Ramblas . Plenty of the beach apartments in Barcelona are located in this area, making it an ideal choice for a spring or summer vacation.

  I had a great stay in this accommodation and would not think twice about returning. The location is amazing as it's less than one minute from the beach and ten minutes to the park. Although the accommodation does not have wifi I was able to access the wifi from the community center across the road from the balcony. It's easy to walk to all the main attractions and the apartment Barcelona office with it's friendly staff is just around the corner. Because of it's proximity to the beach and the community center you do hear a lot of passing pedestrians but it's Barcelona so you should expect some bustle in most locations. The decor of the accommodation is stylish and good use is made of the space. I stayed for three months September to December and I now have many fond memories. In fact I can't wait to come back.
