Additional Location Information
At the end of Avinguda Diagonal is the brand-new residential district of Diagonal Mar , located right on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. This district is the newest addition to Barcelona, having been opened in 1999 and developed for the 2004 Universal Forum of Cultures. Here you will find the Diagonal Fòrum , a triangular building designed by architect José Mateo that defines the area's modernist feel. The Forum is surrounded by newly constructed skyscrapers, luxury apartments , and features two well-known parks offering a green haven just outside the city center. The Forum is home to a number of festivals and exhibits throughout the year, bringing new life and culture to the area. While the area is considered to be the most modern part of Barcelona , it still retains a traditional Spanish feel, with local restaurants and bars serving tapas, sangria, and paella . The area is perfect for families, friends and those traveling to Barcelona on business, and offers attractions for all types of visitors.

ZurichVery nice appartment with an amazing view
Left on 05/03/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We (5 girls) stayed 4 nights in the appartment and we were ver satisfied with it. The only thing, that wasn't "excellent" was, that after 10minutes in shower there was no warm water anymore. So 3 of us had to have a shower with cold water..claudia was very friendly and helpfull. I recommend the appartment.

San FranciscoHostel amenities, Hotel Prices, Resort Location
Left on 07/08/2010 for a stay in June 2010
The apartment is smaller than it looks in the pictures — but still plenty big for about 6 people. On the positive side: three bed-rooms, a small balcony, a serviceable small kitchen, and the beach a stone's throw away. Very close to the Metro and a great bus into the city center.
However, the amenities listed left something to be desired: The washer in the unit ruined a load of laundry, there was no soap (hand, bath, anything) anywhere in the unit, the spare bedding was a bit dingy looking, the "master suite bathroom" was unusable, because it was filled with cleaning supplies and being used as storage by the owner. The shower also doesn't work. We had to request extra towels and a phone from the property manager (who was very friendly and nice -- the best thing about our stay, other than the beach!!), as well, both of which were promised in the ad.
So, I would say on the whole, my feeling was that the unit is overpriced. With three guests, we each spent about $1500 for the 5-6 days we were there -- for that money we could have stayed at a pretty nice hotel.
