As a newbie to European vacation rentals, I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but ended up very happy with this rental. Although we arrived at night, by morning we could see that the apartment was located in a very interesting and quite wonderful neighbourhood, not at all touristy. Check-in went seamlessly. The size and comfort of the apartment was great - it was clean and had everything we needed. The location was excellent - we walked to most of our destinations, and the neighbourhood generally felt safe. It was easy to get to the Metro on the days when we needed to. The only downside of our entire stay was that upon our arrival the apartment smelled quite strongly of cigarette smoke. I am not sure whether this was because a rogue client before us had broken the rules, or possibly if smoke enters the apartment from the mini-courtyard in which I think smoking is allowed. It took us 24 hours and one barbequed chicken to remove the last vestiges of smoke. This would definitely have been a 5 star rating if not for that, and in any case I would definitely consider staying here again. It was great to be travelling with two teenagers and for each of them to be able to have their own private room. Two bathrooms and the laundry were also much appreciated, and the wireless internet worked flawlessly during our stay.

We stayed a few nights with 5 people during our visit to Barcelona. We were very impressed with the condition and cleanliness of the flat. It is very large and well decorated complete with mulitiple bathrooms. It is located in a great neighborhood just slightly off of the tourist path and surrounded by many great local bars and shops. We were greeted by a gentleman who spoke English well and gave us great insight to some of the better local places. All in all it was very comfortable and a rare find. Will have to rent again next time we are in Barcelona.

Everything is as described. The people are all professional, and very friendly. All was treated with ease and my family and I loved the place.
The rooms are big and the kitchen is very functional. The location is impeccable because it is near a metro station (in the same block) and in the same street as the Cathedral of Sagrada Familia.
If we get back to Barcelona we'll surely contact them again. -

We stayed in the appartment for a long weekend in June - 3 adults, 1 child and 1 baby. Although there are a couple of areas where the appartment needs tidying up and fixing it is a great appartment and much better value than staying in a hotel. The next time I travel to Barcelona this will be my first choice and I have already recommended to friends.
The appartment has all the facilities you will need: TV, Wi-fi, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freeze, washing machine, dryer, iron etc. etc and is very clean and inviting. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen / dinner / lounge area and small outside spot the apparment felt pretty roomy add to this the nice bright and light decor we felt really comfortable there. Most of the rooms are at street level which is great for those with buggies as there is only one small step to get in - it would also probably work for disabled guest as the main bedroom (with ensuite) is also at this level - one of the other bedrooms is up 3 steps while the last bedroom is the level above.
The 'Black & White' team that look after the apparment bookings were excellent and helped us out with every request we had. Took a lot of the stress of travelling with a yound family.
The appartment is located north of the city cente and it's a bit of a walk to the tourist attractions or nearest subway but on the flip side it's a quiet area with some great little bars and restaurants and we felt very safe. -

My husband, two children and I stayed here for a week and it was perfect. We loved the location, the look and feel of the apartment and, just everything. Normally we stay in hotels so this was a different experience for us, but much much better. We ended up saving alot of money but still maintained the feel of being cared for, like in a hotel. The apartment had all the necessary amenities and it felt like home. We will repeat, for sure!

we had a lovely time in gracia. i love that neighborhood, it's kind of off the beaten path for most visitors. although there are loads of foreigners in the city, gracia felt a bit more authentic. it's full of life with shops with products from local artisans and cafes open late at night.
the apartment was perfect, very new and clean, felt just like a hotel but better because we had some living space too.
the guy who checked us in was eager to help us with recommendations and such.
the dollar needs to get stronger so i can come for another visit! -
