NEIGHBOURHOOD AND LOCATION

The apartment is located right in Plaza España, one of the strongest touristic points in Barcelona. It is located in the base of the emblematic Montjuic mountain.

Starting from the “Plaza�, there is a fantastic walk over the road lead by the two famous “Venetian Towers�. The road leads you to the magnificent Palacio Nacional, the most emblematic building in Plaza España which was built in 1929 for the “Expos...ición Universal�. The building now houses the MNAC (Museo Nacional de Arte de Catalunya) which is worth the visit. The museum successfully explains the history of Catalan art from the Romanesque to mid-twentieth century.

In the summer there is a very special happening in Plaza España. It is about the Montjuic fountains that offer a magic show with music, water and lights; an experience which is worth living.

Continuing the route over Montjuic, there is also the Castillo de Montjuic (Montjuic Castle) an old fortification from the 17th century, now converted in to a military Museum with great views over the city of Barcelona.

Montjuic hosts many museums, theatres and palaces, including the Fundación Joan Miró which houses a permanent collection from the artist. Poble Español is another of the worth visit areas in Montjuic. It evokes some of the most important monuments in Spain.

In 1992 The Olympic Stadium in was renewed for the Olympic Games and nowadays is an area strongly related to sports and culture. Palau Sant Jordi with capacity for 17.000 people is one of the most spectacular buildings built for the Olympics. In the summer the Teatre Grec is an idyllic scenario for enjoying the best of the summer theater festival.

Integrated in a beautiful modernist building on Calle Creu Coberta, this 90 sqm apartment is the perfect choice for your visit to Barcelona.

It is right in Plaza España so the visit to Montjuic is right there: from your apartment to Montjuic in less than 100 meters.

Starting in Plaza España, there is Avinguda Parallel which hosts lots of theaters and restaurants and drives you to The Port and Las Ramblas, neuralgic city center.

Nearby Metro: The building is 100 meters away from Metro “España� (L8, L1, and L3). Three stops by Metro to Placa Catalunya, 1 stop by Metro to Sant Estació. Walking to Sants Estació will take 5 minutes. Sants Estació in a neuralgic point of arrival/departure by train to/from the city.

LIVING AREA

The lounge has been decorated in neutral tones with reading chair, side lamps and a comfortable sleeper sofa (3 seats) with capacity for 2 sleeps (although we only accept one person sleeping in the sofa so we guarantee comfort).

There is also: TV/DVD; stereo (radio, CD player), private high speed WI FI, telephone (with free local call service)

From the living room, you can access to the private balcony overlooking Tibidabo.

The dining suite has table with seating for 6 people, extensible to 8. The wall at the dining area has been decorated with a local map so you can plan your visits for the day while having breakfast.

BEDROOM AND BATHROOM

The 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom are distributed as follows;

The master bedroom has 2 combinable single beds, side tables, lamps, wardrobe with space for hanging clothes, shoe shelves and drawers. The mail wall has been decorated with a stunning wall paper with the images of the most iconic tiles from Barcelona.

It faces Montjuic with views to Anillo Olímpico, one of the most emblematic icons from the Olympic Games.

The second room has two single beds, reading lamps and a wardrobe.

The third room has a 2 single beds in a loft bunk bed style with reading lamps and a balcony.

The first bathroom has a shower, washbasin, WC.

The second bathroom has a full bath with shower, washbasin, WC.

KITCHEN

Apart from providing a complete set of kitchenware for 8 people, the kitchen is also fully equipped with:

Ceramic-plate cooker and oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee-maker (both electric and the traditional Italian one), micro-wave, washing and drying machine. The apartment also counts with security box for your private use.

  Abbiamo pernottato in 7 per 4 notti nell'appartamento Montjuïc 4 (4° piano con ascensore), composto da tre camere da letto, di cui un sola matrimoniale, due bagni e un soggiorno-cucina con divano letto. Partiamo dai punti forti:
  a) molto pulito, arredato sobriamente con mobili moderni;
  b) perfettamente equipaggiato (lavatrice, lavastoviglie, tostapane, microonde, asciugacapelli ecc.);
  c) posizione perfetta, praticamente in plaça de Espanya, a 15 minuti di bus dall'aeroporto (il bus che parte da entrambi i terminal si ferma a 30 m dall'appartamento) e a un paio di fermate di metro dal centro.
  Purtroppo, nonostante il soggiorno sia stato più che piacevole - l'appartamento non è troppo piccolo per 7 persone adulte - non m la sento di dargli più di un tre migliorabile per i seguenti motivi:
  a) le porte del bagno non si chiudevano!!! In una non c'era la chiave, l'altra era stata addirittura forzata e per tenerla accostata bisognava spostarvici davanti un mobiletto. Inoltre entrambe le soglie erano divelte (si potrebbero facilmente incollare);
  b) era impossibile aprire il divano letto in sala in quanto aperto sarebbe stato troppo lungo e avrebbe urtato contro il mobiletto della televisione davanti al divano. La nostra amica, che per fortuna non è tanto alta, ha dovuto dormire di traverso sul divano. Sarebbe stato più onesto dire che l'appartamento era per 6 persone.
  Nonostante queste osservazioni - visto anche il prezzo (800 euro in totale per 4 notti incluse tasse e pulizie finali) - se dovesse capitarmi di tornare a Barcellona penso che prenderei in considerazione nuovamente questo appartamento.

  Wonderful, compact apartment in a great location

  Loved everything about this place: it was compact but well & truly big enough for 4 adults. All the fittings were top notch - looked like it has been renovated a great cost quite recently. Funky decor.
  
  Great location - walk to many wonderful tapas bars (our firm fave was Silvestre's), walk to the Metro, walk to the amazing art museum, walk to Sants station and the touristic bus stops right outside. We even walked to the airport express bus with far too many bags.
  
  The service on checking in was fantastic, as were the help in operating the safe.

  The apartment was great, clean, the furniture was top notch and really everything was awesome. No noise, no interruptions, no problems. Mr. Vito was our host and we were really satisfied.
  I think Barcelona is the best city in the world, and this apartment is a great starting point for exploring the city. Me and my friends agreed it was much nicer to be close to
  Montjuïc then to be in the middle of shopping streets. Apartment is just a short walk from the most gorgeous locations.
  When we go back for a rock concert we will try to stay at the same apartment. Thank You very much, we loved Barcelona and we'll be back! :)

  I stayed there for 8 days and was very pleased with the apartment. Initially when we arrived it was not easy to locate the entry door because there is no number there, we had to estimate our location by comparing adjacent addresses. Fortunately, Marc arrived and let us in within minutes and we felt at home instantly. Apartment appears to be recently renovated, spotlessly clean, spacious and airy. Furnished exactly as shown on the pictures. It has direct access to elevator so it is very convenient to get in/out. One day elevator stopped working but after calling BWH management it was quickly repaired. Bedrooms had hard type mattresses but for me it was perfect,I slept really well. The bedroom which is located next to the main street was noisy at night but closing shutters and blinds helped. Kitchen is well equipped and everything worked well. No problems with bathrooms either,except laundry washer/dryer combined in one machine takes hours to complete the load.
  The location is great,few steps from beautiful Plaza d'Espanya. Restaurants,shops,Metro, buses, AeroBus with the next stop at the airport, trains, even Tour Buses with tickets kiosk are just there. It was so easy to take a day trip to Montserrat. Barcelona beach is few min. by metro. Palais National, La Fontana Magica, Olympic stadium, shopping center with a breathtaking observation deck are all around the corner and very impressive. Making reservation and payment was easy. All BWH people I had contact with were English speaking, very helpful and professional. I am very happy that I found this apartment in such amazing location and for sure can recommend to everyone .

  On our arival we were greeted by a very friendly memeber of staff Marc who gave us our keys to the apartment. The apartment was luxury, it had everything we needed and was very clean. The location of the apartment was perfect, so many things to see close by and very easy to go everywhere by metro or bus. Overall we had an amazing time in beautiful Barcelona and will definately go again and will stay in the BWH Montjuic IV apartment.

  On a vraiment apprécié notre appart à BC. Grand espace, neuf et confotable tout en étant meublé avec simplicité et modernisme. Accessoires très pratiques à disposition! En plus avec enfants, c'est très bien!
