Spacious 5 bedroom apartment located in Vila Olimpica (the Olympic Village), safe and residential neighborhood, only 5 minutes walk to the beach. It is one of the best areas of the city as it is removed from the noise and very quiet, yet also so centric that all the major city sites are reachable within 10 - 15 minutes walk. Metro and bus stations are less than 2 minutes walk.
This is a good place for sightseeing, as most attractions are nearby: Sagrada Familia, Barrio Gotico, Parc de la Ciutadella, the Zoo, Barcelona Aquarium, the beach etc. This area also has good access to nightlife, as the famous clubs such as Razzmatazz, and the...Read more

The apartment is very well situated, convenient for the beach (5mins walk) and the city centre (20mins walk). It is large and rooms are well proportioned, and there is plenty of room for a large family or group of friends. The description of the apartment is accurate; however, the photographs do not do it justice. It's full of light and overlooking a beautiful communal park.
The area is safe, which we heard is an issue in central Barcelona. There are several very good nightclubs nearby, some in the Olimpic Port, and one RazzMatazz, just a few blocks away, so we didn't have to worry about catching a taxi home late at night.
Overall, we had a great time and the apartment and its location were a big part of it. I'd recommend it warmly to anyone. -

We've never stayed outside a hotel before, and I don't think we'll be staying in one ever again! We had full privacy here, and could invite some friends over...A very spacious and clean apartment with everything we needed, utensils, toiletries, etc...so we had some fun cooking which we never did when we travelled before.
The service was great, very friendly and efficient,, and we got some really good pointers as to where to go and what to do off the beaten path. The apartment was truly perfect - near the beach in a quiet area, and since we rented a car the parking was easy.
We definitely plan on coming back since we made quite a few friends, and our week went by in a flash. I warmly recommend Home in Barcelona to anyone, and hope that future short-term apartment rentals won't ruin this sweet experience.
