We rented this apartment for a 5 day stay and were very pleased with everything. It's modern, clean, quiet, close to all the interesting places in Barri Gothic and to the metro station. There are only two small buts. You have to wear layers of clothing in the winter months or turn on the conditioner to generate warmth. I guess, hiowever, this is a common problem for most rented apartments in southern Europe. Also, the apartment is on the 5th floor, though it's called 2nd for some reason, and carrying heavy suitcases up the stairs was an exercise we had not counted for. Nevertheless. the pros heavily outweigh the cons and we were completely satisfied with the comfort and the look of this very affordable place.

L'appartement est très bien situé ; il permet de visiter l'essentiel des sites de Barcelone à pied (à 1 minute du Musée Picasso, à 15 minutes de La Rambla, à 5 minutes du parc où se situe le zoo, à 15 minutes de l'aquarium...). Le quartier est très sympa et très vivant (tous commerces, bars, marché couvert, boutiques...).
L'appartement se situe dans une petite rue piétonne et l'appartement, situé sur l'arrière, est très bien isolé du bruit de la ville.
Mais il ne l'est pas des voisins, bruyants tardivement (on entend tout car les seules petites fenêtres donnent sur des puits de lumière communs à tous). Et il est sombre (même en plein mois d'août).
Très bien désigné et agencé, il est très bien équipé en gros électroménager (pas toujours indispensables pour quelques jours) mais manque de petits essentiels bien pratiques : vaisselle suffisante (3 bols pour 4 c'est peu...), balai, épluche-légumes, drap pour le lit bébé, etc... et quelques produits de base seraient les bienvenus pour éviter d'avoir tout à acheter (sel, poivre, sucre...).
Le lavabo nous est resté dans les mains le premier soir, un volet ne fermait pas bien et la clim est trop bruyante pour pouvoir rester allumée la nuit ; les nuits, en été, sont donc trop chaudes (étouffantes) ou trop bruyantes...
Le check-out ayant été effectué par la femme de ménage, nous n'avons pas pu soumettre directement nos remarques aux propriétaires, c'est dommage... Ils sont en tout cas très sympathiques et honnêtes, c'est déjà bien.
Bilan : location trop chère pour les prestations fournies.

The appartement is beautiful and really comfortable. The service received was good. The only one thing i didn't like is the fact that the contract asked me for my card number. I think the 200 € caution and our adress is sufficient. The card number is too personnal.
Except this formality, everything was perfect and we can thank you for this great week.
