This is a charming little apartment hidden down a side street just off Las Ramblas and minutes from Playa Catalunya (which is where the airport bus leaves from). From here it's an easy walk into Born, to L'Exaimple and to attractions in El Raval. It's on the 2nd floor and there is a lift. When we arrived, Jeff (the owner) was there to greet us and was very helpful in suggesting cafes for us to go to. The apartment quite basically equipped in terms of cooking but has everything you'd need for a short stay including good sound insulation that shuts out the noise from the street below. The only drawback was no where to put shampoo etc in the shower cabin and no wifi but there is a laptop in the apartment so internet connection is not an issue.

The Gothic Dream apartment lived up to our expectations very well. It's location in the centre of the city, with metro stations Liceu and Plaza Catalunya nearby enabled us to get to all the places we wanted to visit very easily and to wander about in the city centre. The apartment itself is very cosy and welcoming, so it was very pleasant to come home after a good day of sightseeing. Next time we return to Barcelona we will certainly attempt to book this apartment again.

Charming, well located, we walked everywhere. I would definitely go back or recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to experience Barcelona. The apartment is exactly as advertised. Jeff the owner was there to greet us personally and was very helpful. There was a small computer with Internet access available. Additional cooking utensils (stirring spoons type) would have been appreciated, but it did not spoil our vacation.

The Gotic Dream appartment is located in the heart of Barcelona, the vibrant Bari gotic, close to the old cathedral. While down on the streets life is pulsing you are relaxing on the sweet little balcony and have a zip of wine . The appartment does really look like the pictures on the website show, it's furnished with taste, the pixie-painting on the wall looks just great. Yes, you do hear some noise from the people down below. Yes, there are pickpockets on the streets- it's downtown Barcelona. Owner and staff are really nice and helpful people. Enjoy.
