These brand new, state-of-the-art 1 - 4 bedroom apartments suitable to a total of 10 people and are situated in the city center of Barcelona, closely to Las Ramblas. These Modern Ramblas apartments have been refurbished in 2011.
In this building, 2 minutes walking to las Ramblas there are one 1 bedroom apartment, two 2 bedroom apartment, two 3 bedroom apartment and six 4 bedroom apartment.

This apartment is situated in the Raval District of Barcelona, just a two minutes walk away from the famous boulevard of Las Ramblas, at two kilometers in length the street extends from the center in Plaza Catalunya, right down to the Port of Barcelona and the Sea. On the way down this wonderful street you'll find florists, little pet shops, and a wide variety of highly talented artists as well as a multitude of cafes, restaurants and bars. Moreover, the Boqueria Market, The Liceu Theatre, The Impressive Palau Gรผell designed for the renowned Catalan architect Antonio Gaudi, are just a five minutesโ walk away from this marvelous apartment. There is also the Plaรงa Reial, with its large central fountain and classic streetlamps, also designed by Gaudi.
At the bottom of Las Ramblas, you will find the imposing figure of Christopher Columbus, his arms outstretched, pointing to the New World of the America. A few steps from here you'll find the Maritime Museum and the modern shopping complex, Maremagnum.
This is truly one of the best locations in Barcelona!

A group of 5 of us rented one of the daily flats apartments for a night in January 2013. It is in a great location - just off the Ramblas and near the picturesque food market. For the location it was good value for money, however, there are a few other things to consider when booking one of these apartments. You have to walk about 20 minutes to another location to pick up the key - which is a bit of a pain, although the staff there were very helpful. It wasn't entirely clear when we eventually got to the apartment building which flat we were staying in. The interior of the apartment is clean and modern, but when we came to make the beds up (there was one permenant bed and two sofa beds) we found that we had only been left bedding and towels for 4 people, rather than the 5 I'd actually booked for. On closer inspection of the small print of the contract, there was a small note saying that you needed to notify the office within an hour of picking up the keys if there was anything wrong with the apartment. So I would urge people to check the bedding and towels before you actually want to sleep to make sure there's enough!

The apartment is spacious, and well appointed. The kitchen is spacious, but there are not enought utensils. No kettle, coffee machine, wine glasses.
The bathrooms were smelly, and appeared as if they had not been used for long time. The smell disappeared from two once they had been used, the other remained very smelly for the duration of our stay. We notified daily Flats, but nothing was done.
The neighbourhood is not good. Very close to Ramblas, and is populr with prostitutes, drug dealers and pick pockets. Members of our group were approached by prostitutes and drug sellers several times. We were followed along the street by small groups of youths who appeared to be thinking about robbery. This is not a place to walk alone at night, nor even in a group of two or three.I liked the spacious apartment. I disliked the nieghbourhood.

Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that you liked the apartment. Regarding the kitchen utensils, unfortunately there is no kettle available, however there should be a coffee machine. The apartments are cleaned before a guest enters and otherwise it could help to get some fresh air in the apartment, however we apologize that the last bathroom did not smell proper during your stay.
As the apartment is located in the direct city center, it is more crowded compared to other, more quiet neighborhoods and therefore it is more likely to find that kind of persons in the middle of the night. Unfortunately you had a bad experience with this, but luckily nothing happened. On the other side, the location is perfect for going sight-seeing in Barcelona as most sights and the city center can be reached on a walking distance. Usually this is seen as a very positive aspect. It helps to be more cautious during the night. We hope you could still enjoy your stay in Barcelona!

We ended up renting the apartment last minute online and were able to get a really good deal. It was huge, and the four of us each got our own room and bed. There would be no problem to easily sleep 9. It was just one block from Las Ramblas, but it was located on a side street, so no noise at night. Also, there was a grocery store right next door with anything you might need. It even had a bakery in front that was a perfect stop for breakfast. It's an older apartment, but we couldn't have asked for a better location or accommodations.

This is apartment was in the perfect location for our family. A short 2 minute walk to Las Ramblas but just far enough away to be very quiet. The apartment was beautiful, updated nicely inside and meticulously clean. Although the check-in office is a little far away we did not mind because the office was just a few blocks from La Sagrada Familia which we had intended to see anyway. I would highly recommend this apartment and DailyFlats to anyone visiting Barcelona.

We chose a 1.5 bedroom unit as opposed to a hotel room because we have a friend joining us for this leg of our trip so there were 3 of us. The location is amazing and the place is clean and nicely decorated with modern furniture and quility bedlinen, and it feels so good to have space and kitchen equipment!

Some rooms are really small.
There was a sewer smell in bathrooms.

This was our best accomodations in Spain. We arrived earlier than check-in time on a night train, and were moved to a better location in central Barcelona than the one we had originally reserved. We were in the flat, showered and ready to sight see by noon. Having a washer and drier was an additional perk.

This apartment was ten times better than staying in any hotel we've stayed in as a family. The spacious accommodation was an ideal spot to relax after a long day out and about Barcelona. I would definitely stay in another Dailyflats apartment based on this experience. The only recommendation I would like to make would be to ensure the people checking in are made aware of the internet username and password, as we were not informed of it, and with mobile phone rates being outrageously expensive when used overseas, it was not feasible to call to inquire what the passwords were to enable us to go online and check emails and let our friends know how the trip was going. That's about all, the rest was awesome!!!

Well furnished, attractive, and spacious apartment, reasonably well equipped. Many will love location next to La Rambla -- we preferred something in the less crowded, quieter, Eixample area, but had to move to this apartment because the one we booked was being renovated. Quiet apartment, given the location. However, no view to speak of. We were able to meet the rental agent at the apartment instead of at the rental office, which was nice.

The flat was newly renovated and very comfortable, in a touristy area but down a very quiet alley. Manager met us there for check-in when I asked although we were told, in contrast to what the Daily Flats site says, that this is not common practice in Barcelona, you are supposed to come to their office in another part of town. The space was ideal for our needs although it would benefit from having some furniture on the terrace -- a small table and chairs so you could enjoy coffee there. Unfortunately the door of the building was left open (not simply unlocked - wide open) four times during our 24 hour stay -- we did not feel comfortable leaving our valuables there.

Well equipped but a nice addition would be to have some beach items at the flat - at least a parason and a couple of beach matts.
roof terrace was large and despite being told there would be furniture, there was none.
The terrace was not secluded/private. It was very exposed - ie the wall between the neighbours came to knee height and the opposite terraces across the street/back of the flat could look onto the terrace easily.
It was a very nice little apartment however, and did the job.

Great apartment in a fantastic location... kitchen could be better equipped and the shower curtain extended so that you don't soak the floor every time you wash! Other than that a great, great stay.
One thing tho, if you're paying all that money and you arrive late at night, you should be expected to go the offices in sagrada famillia. Every other place i've stayed in barcelona, the letting agent has met me at the appt. A minor quibble but a little annoying after a flight.

Well equipped, modern furniture, very clean and neat, comparartively quiet district although close to the city centre. Helpful staff privided us with all the information necessary to travel around Barcelona and were there to pick up the phone to help us even very late at night.

El apartamento muy bien, muy limpio y ordenado. La unica cosa era que el suelo esta un poco viejo y sucio (no por la limpieza) de las ultimas obras (restos de cementos y cosas de esas) y en la cocina faltaban trapos. Tambien seria muy bien de indicar el algun lado si el agua del grifo se puede beber y para terminar el check-in especialemente para nosotras fue un poco complicado porque teniamos que ir a la agencia y sinceramente esta un poco lejos del apartamento.

We have got this apartment as a replacement as in ours there were no electricity. Location is superb - at small, quiet back street 5 minutes walk from Ramblas in the Rival area. Neighbourhood was ok, few streets further was much worse. Apartment is located in an old, not refurbished building, hovewer the flat itself has just been remodelled, everything was brand new. One may have some reservations to the quality of the work. It suppose to host 6 persons but there are not sufficient sitting places to have rest or wath TV as there is only 1 3-seat sofa. We had one small technical problem but the service provided by Dailyflats was quick and effective. There are 2 supermarkets on this street, plenty of restaurants around. Walking distance to all major historic sites as well as Cathalonia Place - main communication hub.

Nice flat, recently refurbished and redecorated. It is near the Rambla (2 streets away) so in the city center. If you get this 200 sq m2 flat : you will sleep far from noise because the bedrooms are far from the street but overall it is a pity that the flat is not more isolated (thermically & phonicly : street & neighbours).

Great position. Spacious flat. Lovely original features. Sitting space limited. Good kitchen lacking kettle and teapot! Drains smelt in one bathroom and separate toilet, shower didn't drain in the other bathroom. Balconies front and back but no outdoor furniture.

From the on-line booking procedure to leaving the apartment the whole process was so easy and straightforward.
The Ramblas attic apartment was fantastic value for money.
It was well equipt with what we needed and spotlessly clean.
We had looked at many other apartments in the area that were much more money for the same type of thing.
The location is not the best, it's in an area that's a little run down in the Raval district, but a short walk you are within minutes of Las Ramblas, so no problem at all.
The apartment is also very secure with a locked main front door to the newly renovated, very old apartment block, a modern lift to the top floor and a secure door to the apartment.
It also has a great, private roof terrace, which is not advertised, with excellent views over the rooftops.
It is furnished comfortably with fluffy towels and crisp new bedding on a comfortable bed. There is also plenty of very hot water available constantly.Response from DAILYFLATS - 04/28/2011

This flat does not keep the promise of the advertisement - the optical appearance - design was fitting to our expectation but we experienced substantial technical problems with bathrooms.
Showers did not work properly as the sinks have been plugged, the problem was not fixed by the service (Jesus) despite we noticed them at the first day. We had to clean the plugged sinks our self to be able to take a shower as nobody showed up to fix the problem. This was a challange at Easter sunday with limited equipment - I managed to get the sinks clear with Sodium hydroxide and hydraulic pressure from a pet bottle. We one bathroom had a terrible smell that lasted for three dayยดs despite the continuous venting during our stay. I assume there is a leaking waste pipe...
Dishwasher of did not work properly.
The location of Ramblas is great but the technical conditions need improvement and stringent control my flat management. Originally we have booked a different flat but learned at the check in that that flat has been changed. I would have expected to get a upfront this information as we did not get the chance to react /select. For a daily rate of 400,-โฌ we expected to get a better service / deal.

This is no excuse for the inconvenience caused but the fact that all of our 114 apartments were booked during the Easter holidays generated an enormous amount of work for our check-in, check-out and maintenance staff which resulted in this situation.
Thank you for bringing the issue to our attention, I have visited the apartment myself after receiving your feedback to make sure that the malfunctions have been fixed.
We sincerely regret the inconvenience and really hope that you will decide to visit us again in the future, giving us another chance not only to comply with, but to exceed your highest expectations.
