Nice apartment in El Born area, next to Picasso museum. This apartment features bright rooms, hardwood flooring, and tall ceilings. The living area has a new flat screen TV. The kitchen has a sleek modern appearance with all needed appliances including a washing machine. The bathroom has a large stand up shower. The bedroom has a queen bed and plenty of clothing storage space.

The apartment is located at the Born area, nowadays the most famous and trendy district in Barcelona. In this old genuine but renovated district you will find, besides a great variety of restaurants and bars, many of Barcelona’s most important sightseeing spots, such as the Picasso Museum, the Ciutadella Parc with its famous Barcelona Zoo, the beautiful Santa Maria del Mar Church and the magnificent Palau de la Música, a theatre designed by the famous catalán architect Lluis Domenech I Muntaner. Also, you can visit here two famous city markets: El Mercat Del Born, where archaeological rests from the medieval century have been recently found, and the modern market El Mercat Santa Caterina, designed by the famous catalan architect Enric Miralles.

We stayed in Born Picasso in July of 2011. The location of the apartment was great. It's only 3 min walk to the nearest metro station, close walk to the cathedral, Las Ramblas and 10 min walk to the beach.
The apartment was an average size (we are a family of 3 people), the kitchen was very nice and the washer was very handy. The apartment needs some fix though, especially in the bathroom, and new towels. Please note that the apartment is not equipped with an air conditioner, so it can get pretty warm in summer time (we used fans all night long). Other than that we enjoyed our stay in Born Picasso and especially the wonderful El Born neighborhood. We also would like to say thank you to the Lodging of Barcelona team! You guys were very helpful and pleasant to work with.
