The apartment is located at The Rambla area, one of the most famous streets of Barcelona. With a 2 km extension, this picturesque avenue stretches out from Plaza Catalunya to the port of Barcelona. Along its way, you will find small flower and animal shops, news stands and a great variety of street artists. Also, you will be able to visit there the famous food market La Boquería, the Liceu theatre, Antonio Gaudí’s Palau Güell and the Plaza Real square, with its famous lanterns also designed by Gaudí. At the end you will come up with the magnificent statue of Christopher Columbus and just a few steps ahead you will find the Maritime Museum, the modern Maremagnum complex (with plenty of bars, restaurants and discotheques), Barcelona’s Aquarium and the IMAX cinema.

We stayed in Santa Monica apartment for a week vacation in October. We called the co. once we arrived and they ent us someone to hand us the keys and take the deposit.
The location is very good, in an alley off the Ramblas (the far end of the ramblas near the colombus monument) and 2 mn away from the Metro station (green line). Its is also a short walk (15mn) to placa d'espagna. Next to it there are a lot of pubs, bars, restaurants (but we used to go eat off ramblas where the quality is much better)
The apartment itself is spacious (like the photos) we were only 2 persons so we used the bedroom (do not know if the couch would sleep another 2) we did not use the air condition since it was october so I can not rate it. the kitchen has basic appliances we used it maybe once or twice to cook breakfast. The terrace is a nice hangout (if the weatehr is good) but there are other buildings that overlook it.
The apartment met our basic needs since we were sightseeing most of the day.

The staff which was very nice and helpful , checked us into a very nice apartment with a huge balcony.
Apartment had all the amenities of a home.
My family really enjoyed our stay here and will definately recommend my friends to this apartment. -

from the santa monica apartment you can easily visit the old centre of barcelona by foot. The metro is very close. The apartment is nice and good equipped. Big terrace with sun and shadow.

Loved our stay at the Santa Monica, the apartment was clean and exactly what we had been looking for. It was easy to find from airport as beside the Dressanes Metro at the bottom of La Ramblas! it was great being so close to all the shops, restaurants and pubs...all the other districts like raval and gotic were within walking distance too! the apartment could probably do with some updating as the air conditioning wasnt the greatest but there was two plug in fans to keep us cool.
