We stayed in BCN Rambla Catalunya for 3 days. Laura was really nice and helpful welcoming us to the apartment. We arrived in the morning and Laura helped us check in earlier.
The apartment is comfortable with a very nice and big balcony.
The location could not be any better. It is in walking distance to Gaudi's master pieces. It is nice and a live but not as crowded as Ramblas, which makes it more enjoyable.
We used the guide books in the apartment which was very helpful.
Although the kitchen has the basic equipments, we liked it even more if it was a bit more equipped.
The bathroom door does not lock from inside, which might be a bit uncomfortable sometimes.
Our overal experience with this apartment was great and we would recommend staying in this apartment.

This apartment was in the best area of town. Not too touristy (which was good), but still in the center of everything. Very clean, and Laura was very helpful with everything, and on time. Very bright and well lit, and the terrace was amazing. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We have just returned from a 4 night, 5 day stay in this wonderful apartment. Miriam who met us at the apartment with our keys etc. was very welcoming and friendly.
The apartment was fantastic - in the heart of the Eixample District - very clean and spacious with all the facilities you could want, including a wonderful terrace.
The location was perfect - very good walking distance to everything - and 5 minutes to Passeig de Gracie metro and train station.
The only problem was the lift - as the apartment was on the fifth floor and only one person at a time could use the lift with their luggage. I know the lift is being replaced in November 2012, so that should not be a problem from February 2013 onwards.

Great apartment in the perfect location - this is the best area to stay in our view. You are very central and in a very safe location with lots of good restaurants and bars. We travelled everywhere by metro with our 2 boys (aged 10 & 7) day and night and felt safer than back home in London! The apartment has everything you could possibly need for a 2 week vacation - let alone our 3 nights! Very comfortable,clean and smart accommodation. Miriam was great from BCN, she spent quite a some time late on the evening we arrived giving us advice and directions to where we wanted to visit. The lift is small but not a problem I walked the stairs the others took the lift! We shall definitely come back and stay here again, but for longer next time. Thank you Miriam and BCN

The apartment was spacious, very very clean and in a great location. Many high-end shops and side-walk cafes right outside your door. We really enjoyed the large private patio facing the back court yard. This is a residential apartment building so it is very quiet, has a doorman and a secure front entrance. Be prepared to walk up many many steps or use the one person elevator. We figured the steps were our exercise program after eating all the wonderful food in Barcelona.
The apartment could use a few more comfortable chairs in the living room but otherwise it has everything you could want - washer, dishwasher, large living/dining room, nice TV, and right on Ramblas.

Beautiful apartment in centre of city, with a gorgeous private terrace. Loads of cafes and bars on the tree-lined street below, perfect for relaxing and watching the world go by. Within walking distance of Las Ramblas but "far from the madding crowd"! Great service (lovely doorman) and everyone we met was helpful. On a less positive note, the lift is tiny and the apartment is on the 5th floor but we managed. It would be helpful if there was some information in the apartment about where to buy food, water, etc, locally. On balance, this was one of the best places I've ever rented.

We had a great stay in the Rambla de Catalunya Bulevard penthouse. The apartment looked exactly as it did in the photos and was very clean. It was spacious, modern, and comfortable. It was perfect for our 4 night stay. The location in Eixample was fantastic, with cafes, shops, and bakeries right outside the front door, Metro nearby, and walking distance to many sites. The neighborhood was upscale and safe...the Barcelona equivalent to New York's upper east side. Urban Rent was upfront and reputable. The agent who met us at the property was punctual, knowledgeable, and helpful. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the view from the terrace. The terrace itself was huge and lovely for having drinks, or dining out on, but the view was a bit industrial.

We stayed in the Rambla Cataluyna Penthouse apartment in the Spring of 2011. The location of this apartment could not be better. There are two subway stations within a block of the apartment that provide access to the entire city. The apartment is located in a great area of the city, just one block from the Pasea De Gracia, which is a very high end street with lots of designer boutiques and shopping. Also located a few blocks from the Gaudi apartment. Very central location in an amazing, very safe neighborhood.
The apartment itself if beautiful. The unit has recently been renovated so all of the surfaces are fairly new. New floors, new bathroom, new kitchen, very nice. The two bedrooms are nice size and were adequate for my family of four. The living room was nice with a large, flat screen tv, stereo with ipod doc and wi fi in the apartment. The unit is on the top floor of the building with access to a private roof top deck. Plenty of space for our family of four to relax and unwind after a busy day of touring the city.
The apartment made our stay very special and we would love to go back again and would not hesitate to stay here again. The owners were very nice and easy to deal with. They met us at the apartment when without having to wait for them. We had a minor issue in the apartment which they dealt with promptly. Very nice people.
Overall, the unit is very clean, is appointed with everything you will need including utensils in the kitchen and is very conveniently located in a central part of the city. Highly recommended.
