Unique apartment, completely new, with plenty of natural light and nice balconies. The building has been recently renovated. In this area there are many Schools and Universities so a lot of students live nearby. The flat is close to Fira de Barcelona in Plaza España, Estación de Sants, Zona Universitaria, Palacio de Montjuic, the Joan Miró Park, Zona Olímpica and the Camp Nou, Barcelona FC's Stadium.

Metro (L1, L3 and L5) and buses (30 - 56 - 57 - 79 - 91 - N1 - N2)

Picturesque Montjuïc characterized by the fabulous views of the city when you get to the top of the mountain. Tourist attractions include the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc, MNAC museum, and Poble Espanyol. Barcelona Olympic stadium is only a short walk away.

  We stayed 22 nights, Photos show property as it is. We like red. We would stay again as it is just what we were looking for in an apartment rental during our stay in Barcelona. We like the area, there is bus stop right outside the door. The Metro Hostafrancs station is 1/2 block away and we used it often. You can get anywhere in town in 15-30 mins. It is not one of the Tourist areas which is just what we were looking for. It is 4 blocks form the Magic Fountain and 3 blocks from Plaza Espanya. The arena shopping center is in the old Bull Fight arena that sat vacant for many years and has all the shopping you may want western style. There is a large local market a 1/2 block away with lots of stalls for fruits, veggies and more. Lots of choices for food in the area too. It has a view of the main street, but the short street is is on is just mostly for scooter parking for the near by school so it is quiet.. While the terrace does not have a view of the city, we found ourselves sitting out on the terrace with friends or together enjoying a cava in the evening or a meal.
  
  There is plenty of hot water, the washer is great to have so you do not have to pack so much for long stays. No dryer, but can hang out clothes right outside the rear balcony off the bedroom. Plan your wash days based on the weather for dry clothes. The rental agent went thru everything and made it easy to understand. They are about 4 blocks from the second stop off the airport bus. Easy walk. A short cab ride gets you to the apartment. The building was secure, front entrance always locked. Felt very safe in the neighborhood. Never any trouble in the 3 weeks, lots of nice people.
  
  Only things would like to have had better was a mattress that was better, the chairs in the eating area at the table are plastic and not very good quality, and the ice trays were broken.
  Be warned that is it up 51 stairs. It was a hard the first time up with all the luggage, but we got in shape fast and it did not bother us after that. If you are way out of shape or handicapped you will not like those narrow stairs. If you are a light sleeper you will notice the metro as it passes until about 11PM and starting at 5am. You can hear and feel it a bit. It did not bother us but be warned.
  
  Got full credit on the deposit in under 2 weeks after return via PayPal.
