A modern and spacious apartment in a beautiful Catalan Modernist building with superb location! Ideal for both groups and families, the apartment is one block away from the famous Arc de Triomf and Parc de la Ciutadella.
The Sant Joan aparment has two single bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with one single bed, and a master bedroom with a double bed. In the lounge there is a big sofa, a flat screen TV with a DVD player, and a dining area. The bathroom includes a shower and the kitchen is fully-equipped.

Located in one of the big tree-lined boulevards of Barcelona, our Sant Joan apartment is surrounded by lovely attractions. Take a stroll and find yourself in the middle of the popular El Born area, filled with nice restaurants, hip bars and unique shops, or walk by the Gothic Quarter, which is known for its beautiful architecture. You can also reach Las Ramblas, the pulse of Barcelona, where you will encounter street performances, food stands, and plenty of good shopping possibilities.
The famous Arc de Triomf and Parc de la Ciutadella are located a block away from the apartment. Feel like going for a swim? No problem! The beach is only within a walking distance. The metro and bus are easily accessible to get further and explore the city.

The rates are calculated for 5 persons. For exact prices for 1-4 guests, please ask!
PAYMENT: 20% in advance to book (secure payment in our website, and also by bank transfer or PAYPAL). The remaining 80% is paid cash or by card on arrival) + 200 eur security deposit which is refunded on the check out (returning the keys). Check in, fresh towels - linens and service fee: 75€. Capacity: up to 5 people. Cleaning and change of towels service and sheets available.
SOME SPECIAL RATES:
Christmas (20 Dec to 7 Jan) and Easter (1 to 9 April 2012) same rates as for high season - minimum stay: 4 nights.
3 GSM congress: 250€/night (5 persons) - minimum stay: 4 nights, and 2 days before and days after the congress - 175€ per night.
LATE ARRIVALS: Arrivals between 21:00h and 23:00h have an extra charge of 25.00€, Arrivals later than 23:00h have an extra charge of 40.00€.
CANCELLATION FEES: Up to 30 days prior to arrival we refund 90% of the reservation fee (10% for bank transfer expenses). From 29 to 10 days prior to arrival we do not refund the reservation fee. Less than 10 days prior to arrival we charge 50% of the total amount of rent. Less than 48h or without cancellation will be charged with the total amount of rent.

this is a great appartment if you know you will be out most of the day sight seeing or on the beach, the owner/assistant was really helpful and friendly and everything was well organised and professional

The service was friendly and efficient, meeting us at the agreed time and supplying a travel cot on request.
The flat was clean, tidy and well-appointed.
The location was ideal, only five minutes walk from La Ribera, 10 minutes from Placa de Catalunya.

Of course, the fact that this old 19th century building does not dispose of an elevator is hard to affect, since the law does not allow us to touch the Modernista style design of this building... Apart from the extra exercise though, we are here to make sure that your stay is the best it can possibly be. Any feedback is more than welcome.
