This is a delightful, two-bedroom Barcelona apartment, located on the outskirts of the city center, and only a short metro ride from some of the best tourist attractions in the Catalan capital. Perfect for couples and groups of friends visiting Barcelona, this lovely apartment can accommodate up to six people.The living room has parquet flooring, a comfortable double sofa bed and a TV.The kitchen is spacious, modern and fully equipped with all of the necessary appliances and utensils you will need to prepare your home-cooked meals.The bedrooms each have a double bed, and there are two bathrooms in this apartment, one with a bathtub/shower and... the other with a walk-in shower. Just outside the very city centre limits, at the top of Passeig de Gràcia , you will find the quaint town of Gràcia . It is the most distinctive Catalan neighborhood in the Barcelona area, and is a pleasant escape from the more metropolitan zones of the city. Wander through the streets of this cozy, yet wealthy, Barcelona suburb and find a plethora of charming restaurants, many of which boast fine international cuisine. Also, Gràcia is home to a collection of locally owned boutiques and small shops, as well as a movie theatre showing films in both Spanish and English. The area is popular among local students, but has managed to avoid many of the tourist crowds. As a result, its bar scene remains lively and trendy, but retains its wholesomely Catalan atmosphere. Just to the north end of Gràcia is Gaudí's famous Park Güell , with breathtaking views of the Barcelona skyline, including the nearby Sagrada Família , the twin towers of Vila Olímpica, and the beaches that extend into the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Gràcia offers a more relaxing way to experience Barcelona, and has plenty of convenient transportation nearby for the 5 minute journey to the heart of the city center.

  Awful place

  The service was terrible. The gal who met us was 30 minutes late. She smelled like a cigarette factory. She was rushed and not very nice. Her credit card machine did not work and she claimed it was due to my card not working which later it did. She told me either you pay or I rent the apartment to someone else.
  
  The apartment smelled like it was the home of a cigarette smoker. The apartment website said nothing about it being a smoker's apartment. The smell was so bothersome we went out and bought candles. There was no WiFi. The person who met us to let us in told us she would bring a WiFi device for us and she didn't. Three of the doorhandles were broken. In their defense, the mgmt company did send someone over to fix them.
  
  The gal who was supposed to meet us to refund our deposit never showed up. We were supposed to meet at 11. No call. Nothing. We left at 1PM after wasting the morning waiting for her.
  
  The apartment was pretty far from the center. My guess is we paid more for a week than someone would pay for 2 months in the apartment.
  
  I felt so ripped off. I would discourage people from using this service. Terrible experience. You could not pay me to use them again.

  With regards to the price of the apartment, renting an apartment in Barcelona during the GSM Mobile World Congress can be quite expensive. We are sorry to hear that you felt 'ripped off', but we can assure you that the price you paid was a standard rate for the period of your stay.
