This spacious, well-equipped apartment is in a pleasant residential neighborhood. Sagrada Familia, a Metro stop, a neighborhood market, grocery store, restaurants, and small produce shops are nearby. The living and dining area have exceptionally nice furniture, and the bathrooms have nearly new, high-quality fixtures and plumbing. The balcony is so large that it is like an additional room. The wifi worked well, after we plugged in the router. The refrigerator/freezer was fairly big for an apartment. The building and apartment were very clean. People in other apartments in the building were friendly and helpful.
On the other hand, there were problems. We immediately noticed a bad odor in the apartment. Apparently it was a long-standing problem, because we saw candles, air freshener bottles, and a can of lavender spray. Also, the heat was not turned on, the dishwasher was broken, the light fixture in the entrance hall was not functional, and a circuit breaker tripped when we used the oven, stove top, and microwave simultaneously. The washing machine's regular cycle took 2 hours--use the 30-minute "rapido" cycle instead.

Es un hermoso apartamento espacioso. Con una hermosa terraza. El Interior es aseado. Sin embargo, en el pequeño dormitorio estaba allí durante nuestra estancia una renovación resultando en un hedor sucio y húmedo colgado en esta sala. Fue durante esta estancia un punto negativo. Ojalá rápidamente corregido. Además, el apartamento cerca de la Sagrada Familia y las estaciones del metro

We stayed in the penthouse for 11 days in april 2012. Luckily for us, the weather was 90% fantastic, which meant we could spend some lovely evenings relaxing and eating on the balcony. The apartment is spacious, and has everything I think anybody will need, including a washing machine. The decor is very tasteful. We heard a small amount of noise from neighbours, but nothing too loud or late. The location is great, near Sagrada Familia which gives easy access to subway, fresh food market, and tapas bars. You can also beat the queues for the basilica! We had a fantastic stay, and the only problem we encountered (electrical) was very quickly and helpfully taken care of.
