This huge loft-style apartment is located nearby the metro station Liceu, in the centre of Barcelona, the easiest place from where to live the vibrating atmosphere of the Rambla in a building served with lift and it can host up to 11 guests: a group of friends cannot lost this vacation’s opportunity. 120 sqm of comfort and smart furnitures to live the powerful experience of the heart of the catalan city. 3 bedrooms with 7 single beds and a double bed and a complete bathroom. The smart living room has a sofa bed to host two friends and the kitchen is equipped with the necessary for a dinner all together in the apartment (dishwasher, Microwav...e, Coffee maker, Kettle, Oven, Fridge and freezer). One of the most important and fashinating shape of Barcelona is to be able to combine the ancient tradition with the contemporary lifestyle. This apartment is the representation of this mood. An old building in the most ancient part of the city where you can find an smartly furnished apartment with all the comforts of a contemporary house from where begin the discovery of the Barcelona of the origins. The streets all around the apartment are always lively and full of shops and bars, chocolate factories and restaurants. Just a short walk away far from the metro station Jaume I and the Christopher Columbus statue, few meters far from the huge gothic cathedral, there are, right back to the corner, also the Palau de la Musica Catalana and the warming Plaza Real that brings you in the middle of the Rambla and in the Mercado de la Boqueria. Plaza de Catalunya with all the metro and the bus station you may need is only few minutes far away and also the renewed streets of shopping are there: Passeo de Gracia, Calle Portal de l’Angel and all the small streets around. The apartment is in the middle of the Gothic Area but very close to the Borne Area to discover from the late afternoon when is time to enjoy a tapas or a glass of wine, an icecream or a romantic dinner, a funny party in a small cocktail bar or a bike tour in the neighborhood of the Catedral del Mar.

  Es gibt einen Kühlschrank, einen Gefrierschrank, eine Waschmaschine und einen Geschirrspüler. Töpfe, Pfannen und Geschirr, alles vorhanden wenn man es nutzen möchte. Die Kochzeile ist mit einem Gasherd ausgestattet. Flachbildschirm mit spanischen Programmen. (Aber wer braucht in Barcelona eigentlich TV ? ;-)) . Das Bett ist super bequem, es gibt sogar ein eigenes kleines ankleideseparee. Das Bad kann locker mit einem 4 Sterne Hotel mithalten. Wasser immer heiß. Große Dusche mit Glasschiebetür. Viele ablagemöglichkeiten und super-turbo Föhn. Der Balkon ist mini und dient eigentlich nur zum Wäsche aufhängen. Man kann sich aber ins geöffnete Fenster setzen und dem Treiben auf der Straße zusehen. Nicht erschrecken sollte man über den ersten Eindruck des Treppenhauses, der sicherlich mit einer Treppenbreite von ca. 70 cm nicht gerade deutschem Standard entspricht, aber natürlich typisch und originell ist. Die Fenster verfügen über Jalousien und eine Klimaanlage ist auch vorhanden. Wlan gibt es nicht. Die Umgebung: Der Strand ist nur 300m entfernt. Im Erdgeschoss des Hauses befindet sich eine Bäckerei, gegenüber eine Kneipe, ein Frühstückslokal und eine Metzgerei. Die kleine Markthalle ist nur zwei Gehminuten entfernt. Fazit: Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und gleich wie „zu Hause". Wimdu hält hier sein Versprechen - wohnen wie die Locals. Das trifft hier voll zu. Die Vermieter: Korrespondenz in Englisch perfekt. Übergabe pünktlich auch nachts um 23.00 Uhr. Wir konnten sogar die Wohnung am abreisetag bis 14.00 Uhr ohne Probleme nutzen. Der Vermieter sprach nicht perfekt Englisch, aber für eine Wohnungsübergabe völlig ausreichend. Für die 200 Euro Kaution haben wir auch eine Quittung erhalten. Christian hat uns auch nützliche Tipps gegeben und uns zwei Stadtpläne überreicht.
