    Additional Location Information

Barcelona's Gracia neighborhood is located north of the Eixample. Visualizing how to get there from the harbor, you'd go up las Ramblas to Plaça de Catalunya, cross the plaza and follow Passeig de Gràcia all the way to the end. Parc Güell lies north of Gracia.

Gracia was originally its own village set apart from the rest of the city. However, when the Eixample was built in the late 19th century, it served to connect old Barcelona and Gracia. Thus Gracia ceased to be a town and become a neighborhood in the larger metropolis that we now know and love as Barcelona.

Gracia is immediately recognizable for its narrow streets, a stark contrast to the wide, modern boulevards of L’Eixample. It's known as a hip area with an active and politically-conscious community. Here you'll find a number of lively plazas, bars and restaurants, but it's a little more subdued other cultural hubs like the Born or El Raval, with a slightly more mature crowd.

Barcelona's Gracia neighborhood is worth exploring for its unique personality and Park GĂĽell, Antoni GaudĂ's awesome modernista playground.

Fantastic apartment, perfect for a great time, large group!

Left on 12/13/2012 for a stay in September 2012

Dani was more than helpful with any needs we had. Met us outside and even offered to buy us a drink while he explained the house rules. Apartment was beautiful. Fridge even had some beer for us in it. Living room is spacious and with the pull out couch everyone had plenty of room if they had a successful night on the town. Thanks Dani!! Highly recommend for any group of college friends trying to visit Barcelona. Dani never bothered us and was perfectly accommodating to our needing to leave a bit later on Sunday after a particularly fun Saturday night.

      great!

Left on 07/12/2012 for a stay in May 2012

The apartment it's 5-10 min walk from the metro station and it's 10 minutes from the Sagrada Familia.

My family (5 adults and 3 children) really enjoyed staying @ the Sagrada Familia apartment.
At the beginning I was so scared to move all my family to a foreign country but Dani was a perfect owner and let me feel confortable at all.
The apartment was clean and fully equipped and we enjoyed having two bathrooms. Cafe, Pharmacy and shops are very close and they are open untill late !!
If I come back to Barcelona I'd definitely get in touch with Dani for the apartment.

A great week end in Barcelona

Left on 07/09/2012 for a stay in June 2012

We rent this place for 3 days during sonar festival. It was realy well placed, not realy central but well deserve by subway and bus, a realy typical neighborhood with allmost no tourists, even if the flat is realy close to Sagrada Familia. Dany, the oner, was realy nice and the place was like on the description, clean, quiet and well equiped (wifi, equiped kitchen, towels and sheets provided...).
I recommande the place for a family or a group of friends.
