  My husband and I stayed in this apartment for five nights and enjoyed it very much. It's an elegant, light-filled apartment right on La Rambla, in the heart of the action for tourists (on the edge of the old city, the Barri Gothic, and across from the Mercat de la Boqueria). La Rambla is busy night and day, but the apartment is well sound-proofed (though when we were around in the day-time, we left the doors to the balcony open). We were within walking distance to almost everything, and there are Metro stops a few minutes' walk in either direction (for things like Parc Guell and Montjuic, further away). The apartment has been recently done in what I think of as "Euro-chic"--very tasteful and upscale. Agustine, the owner or manager, is available and friendly and speaks enough English to make things easy. And Barcelona is, of course, fabulous.
