My wife and I, our two boys, and my wife's sister and her husband spent a week at this apartment. It was as advertised in the listing, and it was perfect for us. The owner was fantastic to work with, very accommodating, and went out of his way for us. Just a perfect gentleman with great follow-through. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and has everything you need. It has a well appointed kitchen, the living area is comfortable with a large Samsung HD TV, and it also has a washer and dryer. It is one block from Las Ramblas, and a very short walk to the Metro. There is a great vegetarian restaurant, Teresa Carles, right across the street that we unfortunately only ate at once. There is a Starbucks a block away, great bakeries within a stone's throw of each other, even a small supermarket within 10 steps of the apartment building. Can not recommend this apartment highly enough.

The location of this apartment is amazing, one block from Place Catalyna and Las Ramblas. We stayed for a week in Barcelona this past December, enjoying the Christmas markets and street decorations. This apartment is very clean and well stocked with everything you would need. Valentin was a very hospitable host and was available to check us in and go over everything in the apartment. One member of our party arrived a couple of days after us and had to arrange for Valentin to let her into the apartment. The charge was 60 Euros which we thought was high but in hindsight we should have asked about this prior to booking. The apartment is very spacious, however the stairs and elevator are somewhat confusing because they serve two seperate sides of the building. There is a wonderful vegetarian restaurant directly across the street and many small stores selling wine, bread and groceries with a block or two. There are no surprises, this apartment is exactly as stated on the website. If you are headed to Barcelona this apartment has both comfort and style, you will feel like you are truly living in this great city!!!
